The day when Sora reached Elyria was two years ago and the date of his arrival was 1st/Alpha/1A•87. Now after two years the date was 23rd/Ocaba/1A•89. The armies of Draconia has arrived in Elyria and they have been there for some months now yet they haven't made any move towards the borders of Aethoria maybe because of fear or terror (Wait.. aren't these two same. Well whatever!). A stupid or maybe a brave soul from Draconia decided to make his move to the land. When the soldier reached the border.. he was frozen not because of some sort of strength.. but because of the sheer energy pulsing through the ocean itself. The Aether sea was never a normal sea.. Aethoriaians knew they'll get attacked from the ocean so.. so they enchanted a relic and emerged it with a sea creature. That creature lurks deep in the waters, circling the whole aethoria. Perhaps aethoria was actually on top of that beast because during the great war among gods. Aethoria vanished mysteriously. When the soldier stepped back.. he knew if he enters there is no coming back.
He came back and went to Emperor Arkos and told him everything but he only smiled. And said 'You are naïve young one.. I knew it would happen that's why we didn't attacked" The soldier looked at him dumbfounded but didn't inquired more and left. Meanwhile in aethoria.. Sora and Dranelia with their outer Guardians by their side (Islya and déna). It was long journey, filled with no talks and only travel. Isyla reached a little late because he was far away from the heart of the city. Déna reached first with Dranelia and went to the inner royal palace. But the problem was that Déna didn't have the suitable rank to talk to the king and queen. Only ten people in whole aethoria had the rank to enter the chambers of king and queen. Islya soon reached and saw Déna with Dranelia (If you forgot she's a dragon girl) Isyla immediately casted a spell, chains erupted from the ground and held Dranelia up in the air, it crept over her body and held her tight so she won't try anything. Déna stepped in trying to protect Dranelia but one death stare from Isyla shut her down.. sora on the other hand was looking terrified that he wasn't able to do anything and also a little shocked of what kind of power did Islya held. Déna looked down and asked nervously with her voice trembling "please.. don't hurt her.. she's a refuge" this alone made Islya pause and he looked at Dranelia.. she was trembling, fear evident on her face. Tears welled up in her eyes.. soon Dranelia's eyes drifted to sora.. and she paused.. islya lowered her down and apologized for his disrespect amd asked if she was hurt. She just shaked her in a sign which said no. Dranelia's eyes kept drifting to sora.. not because he's a human but because she was shocked seeing HIM! also here. She knew sora from childhood when his parents used to leave him at their house. Dranelia was a kind, soft hearted woman. She never hurt anyone.
After what felt like eternity.. sora spoke. "Dranelia.. is that you?" He was also shocked.. Dranelia turned to her and smiled softly. "Yup.. it's me.. sora" Listening to those words placed an involuntarily smile on Sora's lips. Déna and isyla looked at them and then isyla turned to déna and said.. "sorry, sweetheart I was harsh on you" déna immediately shook her head and said "no. You were just doing what everyone would have done.. I was also thinking the same when I met her but seeing her fear made me stop."
NOTE: Writing this chapter alone took me a lot of time. I know I'm uploading late but please hear me out. I tried to spice things up by adding some kimd of light-hearted romance.. I know it's a dark fantasy novel but having this much violence can be a little hard for some people.
