Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Not Letting Myself Suffer Losses

Ethan Summers decided to give up on the conversation with his sister for now. It wasn't the best time. He would wait until Sierra Summers was well enough to be discharged from the hospital; he needed to find an opportunity to talk things over properly.

Sierra Summers had been hospitalized for a week and was really unwilling to stay any longer. She hadn't been eating well or dressing well.

Once Sierra, who had suppressed her passion for fashion while in the hospital, was discharged, the first thing she did wasn't to ask about who was responsible for her embarrassment, but to carefully put together an entire outfit for herself, spend an hour on makeup, and stand radiantly before her family in five-centimeter heels.

She had chosen a bold red lipstick today, suppressing any sign of illness, looking vibrant and elegant. She was very satisfied, twirling around, "This is the latest dress and shoes I bought!! I took my weight measurements specially and luckily I didn't lose weight, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to pull off this dress!"

Mrs. Summers, Julia Jennings, looked at her lovingly. Her smile hadn't left her face, but thinking of her genuinely optimistic and beautiful daughter, who was still lying in a hospital bed because of The Wynn Family's daughter the previous day, her expression turned somber.

"Mom, what's wrong? Do I not look good?" Sierra asked perceptively, noticing the shift in her mother's emotions. She walked over lightly and sat beside Julia.

Ethan Summers and Mr. Summers, Evan Summers, dressed in suits, also came downstairs, while Julia Jennings, embracing her daughter, thought of the past and her daughter's experiences, and said with a bit of choke, "You look great. Cecilia, they've found the person who pushed you. It was The Wynn Family's girl."

"That Quinn Wynn is indeed something else. The good reputation of The Wynn Family will sooner or later be ruined by her," Evan said with a harsh tone. After they checked the surveillance and saw who it was, Old Master Wynn also received the news and immediately punished Quinn.

The Wynn Family places great importance on whether their descendants are well-mannered and behave appropriately.

Therefore, the punishment for Quinn Wynn was not light. Old Master Wynn even personally called their Summers Family to apologize and sent a piece of writing that Evan Summers liked.

The Wynn Family handled it swiftly and appropriately, leaving no room for criticism.

Even when Julia Jennings suggested that Quinn Wynn should personally apologize to Sierra Summers, there was no hesitation in agreement.

Ethan explained the whole situation to Sierra, and Sierra patted her mother on the back, "Isn't this good? Quinn Wynn received her punishment, and their family didn't favor her."

"Since she's willing to apologize to me and explain everything clearly, why shouldn't I forgive her?"

Ethan looked at his sister as if she were a soft, fluffy marshmallow, easy to bully, mold, and reshape. "Cecilia, we can't just let it go like this. The Wynn Family might think they've been fair enough, but in reality, their daughter hasn't suffered any real loss."

Julia Jennings frowned, clearly agreeing with him.

"So, when you go to the Sterling Family later, Cecilia, when Quinn Wynn apologizes to you, there's no need for us to be too cordial."

"The Wynn Family is in the wrong, and Old Master Wynn wouldn't let this younger generation's conflict affect the business cooperation between the two families."

Ethan laid out the reasoning for Sierra, afraid she might be too kind-hearted.

Sierra smiled, "Brother, I won't let myself suffer."

"When I say I'll forgive her, of course, it's on the condition that her apology satisfies me, right? Do I look that much like a fool?"

Sierra pointed at herself and then remembered what Ethan said about the time, asking, "Are we going to the Sterling Family today? You didn't even mention it to me beforehand!"
