"Yiyi, we're almost there. Once we arrive, you'll share a room with your senior, and tomorrow we'll head to the nearby village."
Upon hearing Teacher Qian's words, Yiyi nodded with a smile, though she slightly furrowed her brows. The senior wasn't just anyone; she was the girl who had approached Gu Tingyu at the school gate last time. Yiyi was surprised to find out this senior was coming along to Xingzhou and had already learned her name on the way: Hua Meixin.
Naturally, Hua Meixin heard Qian Yi's words too. She smiled and said, "Don't worry, teacher. I will get along well with Junior Yiyi. It's such a coincidence; Yiyi is the very talented junior teacher mentioned, and we've already met once before."
Qian Yi appeared somewhat curious hearing this.
"So you two have met before. When did that happen?"
"Teacher, it was not long ago, but I didn't know Junior Yiyi at the time. Otherwise, I would have certainly talked to her more." Hua Meixin smoothly picked up the conversation.
