Keane Lowell looked at her with deep eyes.
Her smile was exceptionally light, her eyes crystal clear, brighter than the sunlight outside, with an unmatched clarity and liveliness.
Yet, her smile made him feel somewhat helpless.
Claire Prescott accidentally fell into the man's unfathomable gaze. She put away her smile and said to him, "Do you mean you're staying here too?"
"Yes."
She pressed her lips together, pondered for a moment, and said to him, "Then I want our rooms to be next to each other. Preferably, I'll see you back by 10 every night before I'm willing to stay here."
This statement inexplicably seemed like a coaxing to get her to stay here.
Keane Lowell added some soup to her bowl, pampering her, "Whatever you say."
"Can you guarantee you'll be back before 10 every day?"
"Yes." He didn't hesitate, asking calmly, "When will you move in?"
Claire Prescott was caught in a dilemma, "I still have to think about how to tell my grandparents."
