Allen stared at Professor Snape in astonishment . He truly deserved to be the Half-Prince; he had managed to break the curse he had placed upon himself so quickly.
"But why did you pour half a bottle into Barty Crouch Jr. when you were questioning him later ...?" Shaking his head, Allen stopped his frantic thoughts and resolutely untied the ropes binding the Potion Master .
" Professor Snape , you'd better be willing to act," Albert said respectfully, as if he had just noticed Professor Snape . It was as if he hadn't seen the man tied to the ground just minutes before.
A smile, barely noticeable to others, involuntarily appeared on Allen's face. His honest older brother had become even more refined after gaining some experience.
Professor Snape pressed his lips tightly together andwalked towards Peter Pettigrew with an angry expression
"Severus! Professor Snape !" shouted Pettigrew . "If I were Voldemort's accomplice , why didn't I ever harm Harry ?"
Seeing that someone was listening carefully, he raised his voice again.
"I've been living in the same dorm with him for three years and I haven't even touched a hair on Harry's head ! Why would I?"
"I'll tell you why," Black shouted immediately afterward.
"Because you never act without a clear objective. Lord Voldemort has been missing for twelve years, and people say he's half dead. You wouldn't kill someone for a crippled, powerless wizard right under Albus Dumbledore's nose , would you?"
Under Black's aggressive gaze, Pettigrew involuntarily averted his eyes.
"Before you return to him, you must make sure you're still the greatest ruler, mustn't you? Otherwise, why are you looking for a wizarding family to take you under their wing? Because that way you can keep track of the news, can't you, Peter ? You can return to him if your former patron returns and the situation is safe..."
Pettigrew's mouth opened and closed several times, as if he had lost the ability to speak.
Professor Snape grabbed Peter Pettigrew's chin, not letting him escape, and stared him directly in the eyes. His own eyes gleamed with a piercing light, and Pettigrew was frozen, unable to avert his gaze.
Professor Snape raised his wand with his other hand, pressed its tip against the other man's forehead, and slowly drew a silvery -white substance from Peter Pettigrew's forehead.
Allen lunged forward, pulled out a bottle, and grabbed the substance inside.
Finally, Professor Snape lowered his wand , his gaze fixed icy coldly on Pettigrew .
Allen looked at him anxiously, terrified that Professor Snape might lose control and cast the Avada Kedavra spell on Pettigrew at that moment ...
But ultimately , he wasn't a Slytherin or a Gryffindor , and a Professor was still a Professor . It was as if he had suddenly risen to his feet and walked away without saying a word.
Allen inwardly breathed a sigh of relief. Pettigrew couldn't die now; Black's innocence hadn't been fully proven yet. He closed the bottle, wanting to pass this memory on to Albert .
But Albert shook his head, gesturing to Allen to give the bottle to Lloyd.
Lloyd accepted this memory without hesitation. If his guess was correct, Fudge would be very willing to do this to prevent Crouch from tampering with Pettigrew's memory before the trial .
Pettigrew's face had turned ashen. Deep down, he knew that his very existence in this world was his greatest flaw, undeniable proof of it.
Along with the removed memory card...
His whole body was trembling, he was groaning in pain, and he could barely breathe.
It looked quite frightening, curled up on the ground, bald, resembling an overgrown baby.
However, none of those present showed any sign of sympathy.
Allen couldn't be sure whether Pettigrew was crying out of remorse or fear .
This behavior only fueled the anger in Black's eyes ; he even began to feel dizzy.
The repulsive male wizard standing before her brought back her heartbreaking memories.
Black's desire to kill grew stronger;whatever the consequences,he desperately wanted to cast the Avada Kedavra spell .
The desire to kill consumed his body like a fire that consumed everything.
Two Aurors , tasked with guarding Sirius ,held him firmly by the shoulders.
Albert ordered the two Aurors assigned to accompany Pettigrew ,"Move on!"andsaid they were preparing to returnto report to the Ministry of Magic .
It was as if invisible strings were binding Pettigrew's wrists, neck, and knees . He stood up, but his head still hung deformed, like a grotesque puppet, while his feet dangled weakly a few centimeters above the ground.
"Allen, you and Professor Snape should come back to the Ministry with us. As for Headmaster Dumbledore , the Minister will go and explain the situation," Albert said to his younger brother.
Allen nodded and walked silently beside Sirius .
Professor Snape was very eager; he wanted to see the trial with his own eyes andlearn the fate of Peter Pettigrew, who had killed Lily .
Professor Snape considered Weasley and Draco as well , but that tunnelled to Screaming Shack , so they could naturally separate on their own. Perhaps they'd even returned to their dormitories by now— he could never have imagined the situation Draco and Ron were in.
What Draco and Ron were rubbing against at the base of the Floating Willow was certainly not melted snow or rotten leaves.
This was a powerful laxative that the Twin Brothers had developed at that time.
These mischievous twin brothers, who loved pranks , could never have imagined that they would pour the residue of their failed laxative into the roots of the Buoy Willow at UU Reading for safety, convenience, and secrecy; because nobody usually came there, and nobody ever touched the Buoy Willow , thus avoiding the danger of coming into contact with the residue .
But they didn't expect to inadvertently sabotage their own siblings.
Draco and Ron were having difficulty suppressing this physiological urge.
Unable to control himself , Ron unleashed an earth-shattering, ghostly—or rather, a natural aura of heaven and earth.
Her clothes seemed to have been rapidly lifted up by the strong current and then just as quickly dropped back to the ground.
Draco covered his nose in disgust, and that contemptuous lookinstantly angered Ron, who realized the fart he'd just let out was more than just an ordinary fart
Ron's face was practically on fire, almost as red as his hair.
Without knowing whether it was from shame or anger, she suddenly lunged at Draco , and the two of them began to wrestle.
Although Draco was surprised he wasn't at all afraid; on the contrary, driven by his competitive nature,he threw himself into the fight with Ron .
In their anger, the sound of loud water jets echoed throughout the tunnel.
A foul smell filled the entire tunnel, and both of them were so nauseated they were almost going to vomit, yet, like two roosters with reddened eyes , neither of them showed any sign of weakness.
Malfoy wanted tocast the Scourgify spell using his wand , but in the ensuing chaos, both their wands had disappeared, hidden away in the darkness amidst a pile of filth.
Meanwhile, Allen and his group quickly retreated from the Forbidden Forest .
Allen watched Black carefully . If this reckless big dog got excited, escaped the Aurors , and killed Pettigrew , it might be satisfying for him, but the deal he had made with himself would be broken.
Allen didn't want all this effort to be in vain.
