There was a mocking look in Black's eyes, and Professor Snape's face was so dark it could almost drip with tears; he looked somewhat embarrassed and angry.
He had been defeated and thus bound before his arch-enemy, by someone he still considered a child... Just then, Allen and the others heard rustling sounds from the woods, growing louder as they approached.
A smile appeared on Allen's face; he had guessed the identity of the newcomers.
Allen looked carefully in the direction the sound was coming from; the sky was still bright, and he could clearly see who was there.
Suddenly, several flying brooms shot out from the dense forest, and the figures on the brooms wore the same black robes; these were the Aurors from the Ministry of Magic!
Allen counted quietly: two, five, a total of eight uniformed Aurors.
One of them was flying at the front, keeping a distance of about two broomsticks from the others.
Allen went straight to them and recognized the leader as his older brother, Albert Harris.
"Oh my God! Merlin's beard, Merlin's beard!" cried a young, tanned Auror, his eyes wide with astonishment, "It's Sirius Black! What's going on?"
"D'Artagnan, we'll find out the reason," a wizard with high cheekbones and well-developed jaw muscles looked at D'Artagnan, clearly annoyed by his friend's shouts.
D'Artagnan closed his mouth and looked eagerly at Albert, who was standing in front.
"Well, where is he?" Albert asked, and as he waved his hands, two more Aurors immediately stepped forward, nervously pointing their wands at Sirius Black and Professor Snape.
After reading Allen's confidential letter, Albert immediately found his father, Owen, and discussed the matter with him. They both agreed that Allen wouldn't joke about something so important.
Therefore, Albert acted quickly and assembled a group of Aurors close to him, including, of course, the men of the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Oswald Fudge, whom Owen had suggested bringing along.
After signaling everyone to prepare, Allen broke the Maze Spell, freeing Scabbers who was trapped in the labyrinth.
A scruffy, grey mouse appeared. For a moment it was stunned, turned, and its tiny black eyes almost popped out of their sockets when it saw the uniformly dressed Aurors in the field.
He took a step forward, then recoiled as if he had seen a snake.
Ready and alert, Albert waved his staff and caught the creature. The creature began to scream, writhe, and struggle desperately.
"So, is that all?" Albert asked, turning his head.
Allen nodded, "Are you ready, Albert?"
"Shall we do this together?" Albert asked, raising an eyebrow.
Allen looked at Sirius, whose eyes seemed fixed on his face.
"I suppose so," Allen raised his wand and pointed it at the mouse in Albert's hand, "Count to three. One—two—three!"
Both wands emitted a blue light. Suddenly, Scabbers froze in mid-air, his small gray body writhing wildly.
The mouse fell to the ground, then another dazzling light flashed, and then—
Just like a time-lapse video of a tree growing, first a crown appeared, then branches emerged.
A moment later, a man stood where Scabbers had been, cowering and rubbing his hands together.
This man was very short, even shorter than Allen.
His dull, sparse hair was disheveled, and he had a large bald patch on top of his head.
He looked wrinkled, like a fat man who had lost a lot of weight in a short time; his skin was dirty, almost the same as Scabbers' fur, and his pointed nose and watery, beady green eyes still retained some mouse-like characteristics.
He scanned the crowd, breathless, and Allen saw his eyes drift to the Whomping Willow tree.
"Peter Pettigrew?" exclaimed the wizard with his prominent cheekbones and well-developed jaw muscles in astonishment.
Professor Snape, who was present at the scene and witnessed everything, widened his eyes in astonishment, a complex expression on his face. As an intelligent man, he instantly understood that the real culprit behind Lily's death was someone else.
Sirius, lying petrified nearby, would have loved to leap forward and bite Pettigrew to death.
Peter Pettigrew seemed seized by an indescribable fear; he stood motionless, like a statue.
However, Allen noticed his eyes darting around beneath his closed eyelids.
Without hesitation, Allen applied the same method to Pettigrew that he had used on Professor Snape; however, this time Allen took a different approach, finding the previous binding method somewhat awkward: ropes shot from Allen's wand and tightly and securely bound the unsuspecting Pettigrew.
Seeing the Aurors' stares, Allen rubbed his nose and said briefly, "As you can see, he's missing a finger. And he can still use Explosive Magic!"
This announcement refreshed everyone's memory. Thirteen years ago, Sirius Black blew up a street, and Peter Pettigrew was presumed dead.
If Allen's last clue is correct, then someone else blew up the street, and that person could be Pettigrew, right before their eyes!
"Lloyd," Peter Pettigrew said hastily, no longer silent, beads of sweat appearing on his pale face, "You don't believe him, do you…? He and Sirius are working together, they want to kill me, Lloyd…"
The magician, with his high cheekbones and highly developed jaw muscles, looked at Allen and remained intelligently silent.
Being an intelligent man, he naturally noticed that something was amiss.
Although he served as an Assault Officer in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the time and arrested Sirius Black, who was believed to have killed Peter Pettigrew, this was merely following orders and did not mean he believed Peter Pettigrew was innocent.
If Peter Pettigrew is innocent, why would he willingly live in hiding as an informant for all these years?
Moreover, he wasn't Crouch's man; he was loyal to Fudge. If there were flaws in the cases Crouch handled at the time, Fudge, while perhaps a little annoyed, would still be satisfied with the outcome.
Therefore, Lloyd did nothing but watch Pettigrew carefully, remaining silent and observing the situation.
However, Peter Pettigrew saw Lloyd, who had once arrested Black, as the final straw.
"He's come to kill me again!" Peter suddenly shouted, glaring at Black. "He killed Lily and James, and now he's come to kill me… You have to save me, Lloyd…"
Black's face resembled more of a skull, his enigmatic eyes fixed on Pettigrew.
Albert said, "No one is going to kill you until you clarify some things."
"Can you tell me?" Peter shrieked, looking around frantically, his eyes set on the Silly Willow tree. "I knew you would come for me! I knew you would return! I've been waiting for twelve years!"
Peter Pettigrew's body trembled, as if he were gripped by extreme fear.
Attacker: The Magic Law Enforcement Department has a trained class of Attackers tasked with arresting dangerous wizard criminals . A group of these Attackers arrested Sirius Black, who is believed to have murdered Peter Pettigrew.
Attackers are often deployed on the front lines of crime fighting and are also responsible for dealing with magical pranks against Muggles (such as Willie Widgeson, who repeatedly caused Muggle toilets to overflow); Aurors, on the other hand, track down and arrest Dark Wizards. Lloyd was once an Attacker and personally captured Black, after which he was promoted to the rank of Auror.
