Chapter 21 - CHAPTER 21: A haunted house!

I smiled at the girl still confused what an ability was and what all this talk about was in general. Then I realized something at that moment, I hadn't even asked the girl what her name was or anything! I smiled awkwardly pulling a strand of hair behind my ear. "I'm sorry for not asking but what's your name?" The girl paused as if thinking or deciding what she wanted her name to be, she chuckled, "ok so do you want mom name or dad name?" "Both" I demanded and she let out a giggle. "Fine!" she chuckled, "so my dad calls me Sam, and my mom calls me Samantha basically the same thing I guess except Sam isn't like a nickname my dad always calls me Sam." 'F*ck it's my turn let me tell you what my name is." "So basically, my name is simple it's just Nina wait sorry I forgot you already knew that!" I giggled awkwardly expecting Sam or Samantha to smile back but instead she got up and left.

No explanation at all, which sort of reminded me of Iris, which also reminded me I wonder what she was doing right now. If she even knew or how she was even taking things, I just wished that I had cameras on her or something, that would have been a smart move to make. "SAM!" there was no response though and I heard the door slam shut and the lights suddenly began to flicker. Only moments later though all the lights went out, and I let out a blood curtailing scream. "F*CK! NO PLEASE I'M JUST A KID PLEASE DON'T DO ANYTHING TO ME!" But to my dismay the lights never came out, out of nowhere I started to hear screams, and I turned around only to see nothing but darkness. I pulled myself underneath the blanket I was wrapped into and started breathing heavily. Was this my end?

Malon walked off into the distance in a sluggish matter trying to keep himself form turning back around and getting Fagget. In his head Fagget would come back the next day and everything would be okay. But he did have this bad feeling that something would happen, and he was right because Fagget running away far far away from their village. 'It will be okay because Fagget is going to come back tomorrow I know she will I know!' Malon mused. He kicked a few rocks before finally arriving at his tiny tipi, and he couldn't help but think that maybe Fagget was right. Their house was too tiny, and there contained nothing in there but an itchy rug. Maybe it was really time to start acknowledging what Fagget had to say.

"Where the f*ck where you Malon, you got me going crazy and where's your sister?" Malon gulped sinking his hands deeper into his pockets, he couldn't help but think this was his fault. "Dad Fagget's staying over at her friend's house it's a sleepover but only for this night." His dad's eyebrows furrowed and he shot Malon a deadly glare, "you better f*cking be kidding me. you let her go why didn't you let me know in advance!" Malon sighed, "dad I couldn't it came up out of nowhere, I'm sorry but it's not like she's gone dad shell'e be home tomorrow she promised me." His dads face finally lightened up and a smile emerged instead, "well I guess it is just one night, and it wouldn't hurt letting her have some fun." He paused, "which reminds me Malon when are you going to make yourself some friends."

Malon slopped down onto the itchy rug as if it were a thick and soft bed, at least that's what he wanted it to be. But of course, he was met back-to-back with the itchiest things created in mankind. A f*cking thin a*s itchy rug. "Dad right now I need to focus on farming so that we could make more money and then we could move out of this place." "I'll even get us some soft beds; all I have to do is focus and honestly right now making a new friend will just make everything harder." In a moments second his dad was tearing up, "son you work harder than I do for the family I feel ashamed of myself, what we would do without you." Malon only smiled while getting up, "shut up dad I love you and so does Fagget."

I kept on shutting my eyes under the covers scared perhaps a ghost would come and haunt my soul. I knew it sounded silly, but right now anything was possible after everything that happened to me in basically my whole life. "AHHHHHHHH!" came another scream and I only tightened the grip on the blanket. I could feel the sweat on my hands, face and neck, the fear in my head was undoubtedly insane. I was going insane right now, there's no way that ghosts even exist I'm just probably being paranoid, and Sam is doing this to me. Finally, out of nowhere the lights were back on and the terrifying screams had just stopped.

I sighed pulling my blanket up only to find Sam right in front of me, which almost gave me a stroke and a panic attack. "SAM! F*CK WHERE WERE YOU, I WAS TERRIFIED!" Sam looked weary for a second then smiled, "this house is haunted you know. This happens every day at precisely around this hour like nine or ten ocklokish at nighttime." I shook my head, "this is crazy, CRAZY! do you expect me to believe that! please just tell me the truth that was literally terrifying!" Sam smiled once more as if nothing had happened, "calm down a haunted house might be a little scary but damn girl you are sweating from your face to your armpits I can smell it!" I took a moment to smell my armpits only to realize they really did stink. Well, that's a starter. I stared at Sam in fear, "I don't' feel safe here."
