That girl was engaged in a battle with the Worm Of The Forest And Earth.
I was too surprised to see that. To kill this being, atleast a group of 5-7 members would be needed and they all must be atleast mid tier players.
Suddenly, a loud vibrations starting coming from the ground beneath the Dilo's feet. I had realised that the Worm was going to take out it's whole body of the ground and was going to kill us in the moment from it's sharp legs.
There was no way that I could make the Dilo move away from that place in such short time.
"Am I gonna die like this? "
And then, another player appeared infront of me. He was in a white shirt and a black pant and shoes. His hairs were long and tied in ponytail. He was wearing black gloves and he looked really handsome.
He was kind of muscular too.
He touched the Dilo's neck with his left hand and the Dilo along with me and that player teleported from that place.
We were still inside the forest but far from the range of that worm.
I was too startled too see him appear infront of us suddenly. Then the player disappeared.
I looked around me, the forest, it's tall trees, bushes, grasses, soil, and the cry of the Worm echoing around us.
I had lost all sense of direction now.
But the only way to recover it was to look at the compass.
I summoned it and I was still facing towards the right direction which meant that the Worm was right behind me but far away.
I decided to wait for few minutes before going ahead.
Around 7 minutes passed and I decided to go ahead. Dilo and I, both were really scared from that situation.
The Worm was the weakest amongst the four ruling creatures of this forest but was strong enough to take down a whole village of elves.
And we players were nothing infront of it unless we reached around high tier. Then a single player has the potential to take down it.
There are tiers in which the power of a player is divided.
This power has nothing to do with the summons of the player.
Low tier, to which I belonged.
Low-mid tier, mid tier, mid-high tier, high tier, high-extreme tier, extreme tier, extreme-demonic tier, demonic tier, demonic-angelic tier, angelic tier, angelic-godly tier, godly tier, omnipotent tier.
These were the tiers I read about in the journal of the game when I read it.
But to ascend to another tier, it would require a large amount of resources and hardwork. Ascending to High tier is not much tiring and time taking but ahead of High tier is so tiring and hardworking that one would give up around high-extreme tier.
The moment my Dilo took a step ahead, 4 players appeared infront of us.
Among them was that girl who engaged in a battle with the Worm and the guy who teleported us to here.
Aside from them, there was another girl who was short in size and was holding a wooden staff.
She wore a purplish-violet cloak and looked really cute. Her hairs were hidden due to the cloak but few strands were still falling on her forehead and they were black. Her eyes were black as her hair strands.
On her right shoulder there was a bird sitting on it. Purplish in color, eyes were wide. It's wings were bigger than it's body and so was it's tail.
It had a long silver peck.
There was another player but his face was hidden behind a mask and he wore a white hoodie and a white trouser. His hands were inside the pocket of his hoodie and his white hairs were flowing back. His mask looked like an oni mask.
The girl who engaged in a battle with the worm, she had long brown hairs tied in ponytail with few strands falling on her forehead.
She wore the same clothes as me and didn't hold any weapon.
She was build atheletic and I could see her legs' muscles.
She extended her right hand towards me and said, "Aren't you gonna thank those who saved your life? "
I was quite nervous, I was afraid.
Hesitatingly, I got off the Dilo and shaked hands with her and said with a nervous voice, "I.. I am sorry. And thank you all for saving my and my Dilo's life. "
She looked at the Dilo and then looked at me and replied, "You can let go of my hand now. "
I panicked and pulled my hands back.
The white shirt guy walked to me and said, "We are from the Hellfox Guild. Who are you? "
I looked at his, truly a handsome guy. I replied while scratching the back of my head, "I am sa—no, I am Airu. Nice to meet you. I am a new player who started playing this game just recently. "
The atheletic woman crossed both her hands and while noding replied, "Yeah, that's why you were trying to escape from the Worm. Now I understand. "
I asked her, "Are you guys already mid-tier? "
The staff girl replied, "Not really, only our leader, Rina is mid-tier while rest of us are low-mid tier. "
I looked at the atheletic girl and asked, "You must be Rina, right? "
She exhaled a sigh and replied, "Yes, I am. "
The white shirt guy questioned, "Where are you going by the way? "
"I was going to search for some low ranking hostile npcs to hunt and level up. "
He questioned me further, "That Dilo, are you by any chance affiliated with the Forest Elves? "
That is something I couldn't answer. Forest Elves would prefer to stay hidden, they would never want external forces to invade their village.
And so, I questioned them while dodging the question, "Why did you guys help me though? "
That guy didn't reply for around 2 seconds, he did realise that I was trying to dodge the question.
Rina replied in place of her, "Basic humanity. "
The staff girl asked, "Why did you change the subject? Are you affiliated with Forest Elves or not? "
