Chapter 100 - Original Technique #5

Konohagakure no Sato :

Village Streets :

The night air was cool, carrying the scent of damp earth and the distant, comforting aroma of late-night food stalls.

As the Hokage and the Jinchuriki navigated the quiet streets away from the Senju compound, Hiruzen's mind drifted from the emotional weight of the reunion to the more practical, slightly concerning reports crossing his desk.

Specifically, the reports from the Sealing Corps.

Naruto had been a whirlwind of industry lately. Between his brutal training sessions and his academy studies, his Shadow Clones were mass-producing high-quality storage scrolls.

These were then sold through official, monitored channels. The boy was hoarding Ryo at an alarming rate for an eleven-year-old. It was efficient, yes, but it spoke of a desperation or a hidden agenda that the Hokage couldn't quite place.

Deciding to probe subtly, the Hokage puffed on his pipe, the cherry-red ember briefly illuminating his wrinkled face. "Naruto."

"Yeah, Grandpa?" Naruto replied, his hands tucked casually behind his head as he walked.

"Your Koga-sensei mentioned that you've been... exceptionally busy at the Sealing Corps lately. Making scrolls almost constantly." Hiruzen stopped walking and looked down at the boy, his voice laced with gentle, Grandfatherly concern.

"Naruto, do you have some difficulties? You can tell me, you know. Koga and I are both worried that you might be overworking yourself for the sake of money."

Naruto went quiet for a moment, his eyes drifting upward to the pale silver moon hanging over the Hokage Monument. He had prepared for this question. His MindHub had run the simulations weeks ago.

Naruto couldn't tell the Hokage the truth: that he was gathering funds for a private, heavily warded underground lab, or that he needed to purchase rare, highly restricted conductive metals for advanced research and the eventual creation of a customized chakra weapon.

( let's see how much freedom I have gained since awakening )

"It's just..." Naruto started, dropping his arms and scratching the back of his head sheepishly, perfectly playing the part of an embarrassed child.

"The apartment is getting really small, Grandpa. Between me, Simba growing bigger every day, the ravens, and Sadako... we're practically tripping over each other. I was planning to save up enough to buy a proper house. You know, something with a yard where the animals can actually move around."

Hiruzen felt a sharp, sudden pang of guilt strike his chest. For years, he had kept Naruto in that cramped, lonely apartment—partly for the boy's safety, and partly to keep the Jinchuriki "low profile."

But looking at him now, seeing the capable young shinobi he was becoming, it was clear the boy was outgrowing those walls in every conceivable sense.

His eyes softened, and he reached out a weathered hand to pat Naruto's shoulder. "I see. That is a noble goal, Naruto," the Hokage replied, his voice thick with genuine affection. "But why do it all alone?"

Naruto looked back, tilting his head in perfectly 'executed' puzzlement. "Grandpa? You mean...?"

"Yes," Hiruzen chuckled, a mischievous glint returning to his aged eyes. "Let me help."

Naruto's eyes widened, this time with genuine, unfeigned surprise. A house provided or subsidized by the Hokage would mean significantly better security wards. More importantly, it meant a much larger, legally sanctioned space for his Jutsu experiments without drawing ANBU suspicion.

( well the things i need to research , does not require secrecy .......and with hirashin , i can research the dark things somewhere else in future anyway )

"Really? You're the best, Old Man!" Naruto cheered, his voice echoing slightly in the quiet street. He almost lunged into a hug before 'catching' himself and settling for a deep, exaggeratedly grateful bow.

Looking at Naruto, the Hokage smiled warmly and spoke again, tempering the boy's excitement. "But this can only be done after your graduation, you know. At that time, when you are officially a Genin of the Leaf, I will help you, and we will both look for a new house with a big yard."

Hearing the Hokage's condition, Naruto didn't show a fraction of the disappointment that flared in his heart. His acting skill worked perfectly, maintaining his bright demeanor as he replied loudly, "You best be sure to remember it, Old Man! I'm holding you to it!"

The Grandpa and Grandson walked along the stone-paved paths, the comfortable silence returning for a few blocks. Soon, the Hokage spoke again, steering the conversation toward shinobi matters. "How is your jutsu training going, Naruto?"

Hearing the question, Naruto's mind raced. He decided to implement another layer of his long-term plan. "Everything is good, mostly," Naruto said, kicking a small pebble. "Only the Chidori is giving me problems. The shape manipulation is erratic, and the tunnel vision... it's hard to manage."

Hearing this, the Hokage was not surprised. He already knew this; he read Naruto's daily training reports and monitored his progress. However, the Hokage thought of something—a way to bridge the gap between the boy and the legacy of his father. He spoke up, "Then how about I ask someone to teach you some tricks for that jutsu?"

Naruto's eyes 'lit up' in wide-eyed curiosity. "Teach? Not you, but someone else? Who, Grandpa?"

Hearing Naruto's curiosity, the Hokage smiled under the shadow of his hat. "Haha, someone who actually created that jutsu."

Naruto's eyes 'widened' in wonder, his jaw dropping slightly. "Really?! That's awesome!"

The Hokage considered for a moment, stroking his beard. "How about I ask him to visit you and teach you the finer points?"

Naruto shook his head vigorously, adopting a posture of strict respect. "No way, Old Man. Isn't that disrespectful? He's a senior shinobi! Let me visit him first and ask personally. A shinobi who created a jutsu like that must be amazing, right? I should be the one to go to him."

Hearing Naruto's excitement, coupled with his surprising maturity and grasp of shinobi etiquette, Hiruzen took a slow breath. He smiled warmly. (Naruto has really grown. Minato... Kushina... you would be proud.)

"Very well," the Hokage replied gently. "Then I will inform him to expect you. You should take this address and visit him tomorrow evening at his home." Hiruzen pulled a small slip of paper from his robes , wrote the address on it and handed it over.

Naruto memorized the address instantly, slipping the paper into his pocket before giving the Hokage a quick, impulsive hug. "Thanks, Grandpa! So, who is this awesome shinobi?"

The Hokage returned the embrace briefly before stepping back. "The Chidori was created during the Third Great Ninja War. The shinobi who made it... is Hatake Kakashi."

The grandpa and grandson then spent the rest of the walk chatting about the legendary Copy Ninja and the history of the Third War. Soon, they reached the familiar, slightly rundown exterior of Naruto's apartment building.

The Hokage saw him to the door, offering a final goodnight before vanishing in a subtle swirl of leaves.

Watching the Old Man leave, Naruto turned and unlocked his door, stepping into the familiar chaos of his home. He was immediately welcomed by his family:

Simba the ninken pup trotted up, yipping happily, while the ravens cawed softly from their perches, and Sadako the owl hooted from the top of the bookshelf.

His Shadow Clones, which had been dispelled moments before he arrived, had made sure that all the animals were well-fed, and Simba had already been taken for a walk.

( it's seems they are happy and well fed )

Naruto headed straight for the bathroom. He stripped off his formal kimono and stepped under the cold spray of the shower. As the water cascaded over his face, he looked up at the ceiling. His 'Acting Skill' finally shut down, the bright, hyperactive mask dissolving into an expression of deep, exhausted relaxation.

(I never thought I would establish a connection with Tsunade this early,)

Naruto mused, letting the Cold water soothe his aching scalp where the Sannin had struck him.

(And to think the Third Hokage would be the bridge for it. I also never expected to meet another Uzumaki so soon... not just Karin, but her mother, Ayaka, too.)

Naruto scrubbed his face, exhaling a long breath. (Uzumaki... family.....no time to be sentimental though ) He shook his head, clearing the sentimental fog.

(*Sigh*... maybe overthinking the emotional reasons isn't that important right now. I just need to walk—or run—at my own pace. The board is set; I just need to keep moving the pieces.)

Naruto dried himself off, changed into a loose pair of gray pajamas, and headed to his bedroom. Simba immediately hopped onto the mattress, and Naruto picked the growing pup up, cuddling him close as he sat against the headboard.

( now i don't know which pieces are moving where ??/ Well as long as Akatsuki doesn't start their plan early )

Scratching Simba under the chin, Naruto's mind shifted to his upcoming training. Because of Tsunade's unexpected involvement, he needed to alter his plans.

He had 45 days of Academy vacation. He decided to focus entirely on making techniques that required the Medical Saint's specific expertise and her flawless diagnostic eyes.

( not just 45 days but maybe this whole year I should focus on this )

Naruto reached over to his nightstand, picking up his worn, leather-bound notebook and a pen. He sighed as he flipped to the section labeled 'Original Techniques.'

There were a lot of chaotic ideas in his head, inspirations drawn from his past life on Earth, from anime, and from fanfiction concepts. There were endless options to work with, but he had strict criteria.

( If I am going to invest time into making original techniques, they need to be ones that are relevant until the Grand Finale. They need to be effective against Madara, or Kaguya... or even Obito and Pain.)

This was the reason Naruto never wasted time looking for flashy but ultimately shallow jutsu.

The first issue was the immense theoretical development involved in creating a jutsu from scratch. The second was utility: a technique had to scale. It had to be useful not just in the Genin or Chunin phases, but well into the Jonin and Kage tiers of combat.

( especially above the kage rank jutsu afterall there will come a time when kage's are just some dancing monkey in front of MADARA )

Naruto uncapped his pen and wrote down his first envisioned technique, expanding on the theories he had debated with Tsunade.

1.The O2 Breathing Technique

(Foundation) Concept:

Maximum biological efficiency. By mastering diaphragmatic control and forced cellular oxygenation, this technique ensures I am always in an optimum state of physical performance.

Future Scaling:

Once perfected, it will branch out to sync with different chakra natures (Wind for cutting edge, Lightning for neural speed). It is a purely physiological buff—meaning it cannot be absorbed or nullified by the Rinnegan.

It is absolute combat stamina.

After reviewing the notes, Naruto drew a line and wrote down his second envisioned technique—a dangerous, highly experimental idea.

2nd Original Technique :

The Chakra Burst Technique :

(Physical Enhancement & Forging) Concept:

A fusion of the Eight Inner Gates principle with extreme chakra compression and localized bursting. Designed to synergize with Tsunade's monstrous Taijutsu and my future Flying Thunder God.

Modes of Operation:

Mode 1 (Combat): Extreme, momentary compression and release of chakra at the point of impact or the soles of the feet. Exponentially increases burst speed and striking strength.

Mode 2 (Training/Forging): This is the crucial application. Utilizing the principle of the Eight Gates to systematically and microscopically damage the body's muscle fibers.

Naruto tapped his pen against his chin, thinking about the biology of it. It was a simple concept from his past life:

Hypertrophy : Muscles grow when resistance training causes microscopic tears to the fibers. The body repairs these damaged fibers through protein synthesis, increasing their thickness and number. The "burn" of a workout was the catalyst for growth.

(If I can use the Chakra Burst Mode 2 to intentionally create those micro-tears using internal chakra pressure, rather than external weights...) Naruto thought, his eyes gleaming in the dim light.

( I can condense the results of hours of rigorous, Guy-and-Lee-level physical training into just one hour of concentrated, internal damage. I can force my body to adapt and grow stronger at an accelerated rate.)

But to do that safely, he needed a counterbalance. He moved to the next page.

3rd Original Technique :

The Hundred Forge Seal :

(Recovery & Adaptation) Concept: A byproduct of studying Tsunade's Creation Rebirth (Byakugou).

( Since I plan to use the Flying Thunder God to avoid taking hits in combat, I don't need a seal designed to heal fatal battle wounds instantly )

Function: Instead of healing for the sake of continuing a fight, this seal will be designed to heal for the sake of forging the body. It will aggressively and systematically repair the micro-tears caused by the Chakra Burst training mode, facilitating rapid protein synthesis and muscle density increase.

( It heals to build, not just to survive )

Naruto stared at the three interconnected concepts. They were ambitious. Lethal if done wrong. But with Tsunade's guidance over the next 45 days and also the year following it , they were possible.

NAruto decided he would first refine the O2 Breathing to perfection in these 45 days. Once his lungs and vascular system could handle the strain, he would present the theoretical framework of the Chakra Burst and the Hundred Forge Seal to the Sannin.

As for sharing these techniques to village because of it .

The O2 Breathing is something that most Shinobi can learn and since He is asking Tsunade for help then the technique already belongs to the village , So instead of stubbornly refusing , Naruto decided to embrace "WILL OF FIRE " and give it as a gift to the village .

( well it's not like they will not repay with anything , there would definitly be merits )

This was the "Gift." It was a foundational change in how a shinobi functioned. Most ninja could learn it with enough discipline. It wouldn't require massive chakra reserves, just a fundamental understanding of biology and diaphragm control.

The average Shinobi's stamina would skyrocket, and the village's combat efficiency would shift into a new era.

( But considering it's importance , i fail to believe that it would not go to Sealing Scroll as an S-rank or A-Rank jutsu )

As for Chakra Burst , This was a "Forbidden" reality. Unlike the breathing, this was effectively locked away from the masses. To even attempt the training mode, a user would need knowledge of the Eight Inner Gates—a classified S-rank technique. Beyond that, the physical strain was astronomical.

( no, it will be even more demanding than shadow clone jutsu )

Naruto realized this would be even more demanding than the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu. While the clones divided chakra, the Burst threatened to shred muscle fibers and collapse the vascular system from the inside out. Without a monster-tier constitution, it was a suicide technique.

( only for suitable people.......like me ...and Hinata heheheh )

And Lastly for Hundred Forge Seal : This was the "Masterwork." The chakra control required for this would be, at minimum, an S-Rank rating. It shared the same DNA as Tsunade's Hundred Strength Seal, but its complexity was even higher because it had to target microscopic cellular repair rather than just closing large wounds.

Naruto smirked into the dark. Strictly speaking, the seal wasn't "necessary" for survival. If he used the Burst, his Uzumaki vitality would eventually heal the damage naturally over a few days.

But that wasn't enough. Naruto didn't want to just heal; he wanted to evolve. Once he perfected the seal's ability to forge the body during the repair process, he could reach his original vision of a "Perfect Vessel."

( Once the technique is done , I can modify it according to my vision )

In The end Taijutsu , Sealing and Sage jutsu are the only things that will matter later . Senjutsu doesn't have any leads , Sealing also doesn't seem to have any leads , especially something that will work on Madara and Kaguya .

( Taijutsu will go a long way , especailly paired with Flying Thunder God and Senjutsu Chakra Reinforcement )

Satisfied with his roadmap, Naruto closed the notebook and placed it back on the nightstand. He settled deeper into the pillows, closing his eyes to summon his status panel.

( well my cheat is SIGN-IN SYSTEM , so I will hardly lack Jutsu or skills in the future )

A glowing blue interface materialized in the darkness of his mind. He navigated away from his skill list and opened the new 'Reward' tab. Sitting there, untouched for weeks, was a high-tier reward he had received from a sign-in at the Hokage's Office.

[Inventory Item: Random S-Rank Jutsu Scroll]

He had been saving it. Looking at the reward, Naruto then checked his daily active buff, which he had acquired earlier that day at the Nakano Shrine.

[Active Buff: 'Lucky' — 5 hours, 35 minutes remaining]

Initially, Naruto had planned to focus all his daily buff for Great Sage skill and it's processing power on the Flying Thunder God. But His progress with the Hiraishin was agonizingly slow (Lv0−4/10), and even though he desperately wanted to master it before the graduation exams .

However, looking at the unopened S-Rank reward, Naruto reconsidered.

( If I use the scroll now, while the 'Lucky' buff is active, it might influence the randomization to give me something that directly aids my current situation )

"Alright. Let's see what the system thinks I need," Naruto whispered into the quiet room.

He mentally selected the reward and activated it. The system interface flashed violently, the digital scroll unrolling in a blur of golden light. Data cascaded down his vision as the system processed the "Lucky" variable against the vast database of S-Rank techniques.

The light faded, leaving a single line of text floating in his MindHub.

----------------------------------------

[Reward Unlocked: Spirit Transformation Technique ]

Class: S-Rank.

Description: Allows the user's spirit to materialize and leave their body, enabling them to take possession of a target, manipulate them, or traverse vast distances instantly. Requires extreme Yin release and spiritual fortitude.

--------------------------------

Naruto stared at the text, blinking slowly. The initial surge of anticipation deflated into a heavy sigh of disappointment. He let his head fall back against the pillows.

"Spirit Transformation?" he muttered. "I'm trying to build an indestructible physical vessel, and the system gives me a jutsu that literally requires me to abandon my body and become a ghost? Is my luck really that bad?"

He rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on that had nothing to do with Tsunade's punch. But as he lay there, his analytical minds—honed by the MindHub—began to dissect the possibilities.

(Wait...)

Naruto thought about his three new concepts: the Breathing, the Burst, and the Forge. They were entirely focused on the physical realm—the Yang aspect of his chakra.

(Forget the disappointment,)

Naruto thought, a slow, cunning smile creeping onto his face.

(One technique for the absolute peak of the physical body... and another technique for the absolute mastery of the soul and Yin chakra. A perfect dichotomy. If I can learn to separate my spirit, I could theoretically bypass physical barriers, possess enemies for sabotage and even hurt the souls , or maybe even interact directly with the seal holding the Fox without meditating.)

It wasn't the Hiraishin, but it was an S-Rank trump card that no one—not even the Hokage or Tsunade—would ever see coming.

"Maybe it's not that bad after all," Naruto whispered and read the Jutsu intro fully .

-------------------------------

Spirit Transformation Technique

Rank : S-Rank Jutsu

Classification : Ninjutsu

Class : Offensive, Supplementary

Range : All ranges

Usage Summary :

This highly versatile technique allows the user's spirit to leave their body. By taking possession of a target, the spirit can suppress and collapse the victim's spirit, killing them, or freely manipulate their actions.

This technique can also be used to communicate information or transfer chakra. This technique will always reach the intended target, even when their whereabouts are unknown to the user. Having become a living ghost, the spirit has no substance and cannot be affected by enemy attacks.

The only way to counteract the technique is to trap the user within a barrier, such as the Four Violet Flames Formation, before it is activated.

Reading the Jutsu's information , Naruto yawned and decided to tackle the S rank Behemoth tommorrow .

He gently moved a sleeping Simba to the side, reached over, and clicked off the bedside lamp. As the room plunged into darkness, Naruto lay back, his mind already opening the newly downloaded mental files, reading the complex, ethereal introduction of the Spirit Transformation Technique as he drifted into a restless, calculating sleep.
