 Chapter 58 – Teasing Kuina

After cleaning myself up, I headed to the beach, where Kuina was practicing her swordsmanship.

I planned to meet her first to give her a strength potion. Not only that, but I also intended to subtly hint at having sex with me.

When I arrived, she was swinging her sword fiercely. She was fully focused on her training.

She was wearing the same kimono-style green outfit Zoro wore after the time skip, only tailored for a woman. Sweat dripped down her face, neck, chest, and arms, glistening under the sunlight. It created a striking and beautiful scene.

I honestly paused for a moment, admiring the sight of a beautiful woman devoted to her training.

With my intermediate-level swordsmanship skill, I was far more knowledgeable than her. Just by watching for a few moments, I could clearly see her technique, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as how she could improve.

"Your posture is too stiff. Your grip on the sword is too tight, your footwork is off, and your stance isn't balanced. Even your breathing is wrong," I said calmly.

She shot me an annoyed look. "What do you even know about swordsmanship? All you're good at is fooling around with women. You should just stick to being a pervert instead of commenting on my sword."

"You want to become the greatest swordswoman in the world, don't you? Then you should at least consider advice from others. I do know a thing or two, since I've mastered the Breath of All Things."

"Don't confuse me with fancy words like that," she snapped. "Just let me practice in peace."

"It's not a useless or fancy term," I replied. "The Breath of All Things is true mastery over the sword. It means you can cut steel if you wish and avoid cutting even paper if you don't."

Kuina froze, her eyes widening slightly in surprise. Those words were exactly the same as what her father had once told her. Because of her pride, she hated being lectured by him, but hearing it from someone else hit differently.

She slowly lowered her sword and turned to face me, staring straight into my eyes.

"If you're really that good," she said firmly, "then fight me. If you can defeat me, I'll take your advice seriously."

Without waiting for my answer, Kuina immediately took her stance, her body tense and ready to fight.

I let out a sigh, then my expression hardened as I became serious.

"It looks like you're not going to listen to anything I say. Fine. Let's fight. After I defeat you, I'll help you improve your swordsmanship and give you a potion to increase your strength. This way, you'll at least show me some respect as your captain."

"Then how about this?" I said calmly, though there was a sharp edge beneath my words. "If I lose, I'll teach you everything I know about Haki and swordsmanship. But if I win…" I paused, meeting her eyes directly. "You'll become mine after I defeat you."

Her face flushed instantly with anger.

"You pervert!" she shouted, pointing her sword at me. "I'll never lose to a man who only thinks with his lower half!"

I hadn't planned to conquer Kuina here in Syrup Village. I had other plans, and if I wanted her to truly acknowledge me in the future, I first needed to defeat and dominate her in swordsmanship. Only after proving myself would I help her refine her skills and grow stronger. That would earn me not only her respect but also her gratitude. With that in mind, I accepted the duel.

I picked up a wooden stick from the ground and took my stance.

"Are you insulting me?" Kuina snapped. "You're going to fight my sword with a wooden stick?"

"Don't misunderstand," I replied calmly. "I don't have a sword right now, so I'll use this. And I won't complain even if you attack with all your strength. After all, it would be far more embarrassing if you lost a sword fight to someone using a stick."

"Then don't blame me if I cut you into pieces," she said coldly.

With those words, she lunged at me. Her movements were fast and precise, but I could see hesitation in her eyes, as if she didn't truly want to hurt me. Still, when her blade failed to even nick the wooden stick, her expression twisted with surprise and frustration.

Naturally, she couldn't cut it. I had coated the stick with my Armament Haki.

She continued attacking relentlessly while I calmly defended myself.

"You coward!" she shouted. "Are you underestimating me? Why are you defending like a turtle? And why can't I cut this wood?!"

Kuina looked both angry and embarrassed. Gritting her teeth, she poured all her strength into her attacks. This time, there was no hesitation in her eyes. She was giving everything she had to defeat me.

I exhaled slowly.

"I guess it's time for me to get serious."

The corner of my mouth lifted into a faint smile. Earlier, when I was fighting Kuina, I hadn't been serious at all. I had only been blocking her attacks without striking back, trying to calm her down with words. Clearly, that approach hadn't worked.

I poured even more Haki into the wooden stick in my hand. It gradually turned black as it became fully coated. "Since you're so eager," I said calmly, "then let me fight properly."

Kuina immediately sensed the change. The atmosphere around me shifted, and an invisible pressure pressed down on her. She tightened her grip on her swords and became serious right away.

For a moment, we just stared at each other, neither of us making the first move. After a short while, Kuina grew impatient and said with a serious expression, "If you won't make a move, then I will."

She moved instantly, appearing right in front of me, gripping her swords tightly as she swung them straight down. Facing such a powerful attack, I smiled and raised my stick to meet her blades.

Even though she put her full strength into the strike, I repelled it effortlessly.

Clang!

The sword and stick collided violently, sending a powerful shockwave of air outward. Despite attacking first, Kuina couldn't force me back even a single step. Her eyes widened in surprise, but she quickly recovered and twisted her body, swinging her sword horizontally.

I ducked to the side, spun around, and kicked her hard in the stomach. Kuina stumbled back several steps from the impact. When she steadied herself and looked forward, I was already gone.

In the next instant, I appeared behind her, swinging my wooden stick straight toward her back.

Kuina sensed danger behind her and immediately jumped aside, narrowly dodging my attack.

I stopped where I was and didn't pursue her. Kuina turned to look at me and noticed that I was smiling. For some reason, that smile irritated her deeply.

She waved the sword in her hand and said angrily, "Why are you smiling like that? Do you think you've already beaten me? You won't defeat me as easily as you think."

At the same time, confusion filled her mind.

'Why couldn't I cut his wooden stick with steel sword? Why had it turned black? Even if he is stronger physically, why does his sword skills feel more refined than mine? He isn't even holding a real sword, yet his movements felt far too natural.'

"I never thought I could defeat you so easily," I replied. "If my smile offended you, I apologize." Even as I said that, the smile didn't leave my face.

That only annoyed her more.

Kuina stomped hard against the ground and used the recoil to launch herself straight at me. Seeing her charge forward with full force, I no longer held back and met her head-on.

Clang!

Ding!

Ding!

Each time our weapons collided, she took the worse end of the exchange. I could feel her frustration growing. She knew it too. My sword skills were stronger, and my physical strength clearly surpassed hers. Still, she didn't retreat and continued attacking with everything she had.

Clang!

Another violent collision followed. This time, she was only pushed back one or two steps. She had started to adapt to my strength. But she didn't realize I was still holding something back.

Just as she thought the exchange was over, I suddenly increased my power. Completely unprepared, she was knocked flying.

She spun several times in the air before regaining control. Before landing, she dispersed the remaining force and slid backward nearly ten steps before stopping. She looked at me from a distance and said seriously, "I didn't expect you to be this skilled."

"I told you," I replied calmly. "If you want, I can even teach you a few things."

I smiled again.

Her expression sharpened. She adjusted her stance and tightly gripped Wado Ichimonji. In the next instant, she rushed toward me at high speed, swinging her sword across her chest in a descending diagonal slash.

"Single Sword Style: Oni Giri!"

For a brief moment, I was startled. It looked like Zoro's technique.

'Was this something she created on her own, or was it some twist of fate?'

My focus slipped for just an instant, but I immediately regained my composure.

As she attacked with everything she had, I activated my Observation Haki and calmly searched for the flaw in her movement. Then I easily found it.

My smile widened slightly as I swung my wooden stick and blocked her attack at its weakest point. Her sword stopped dead in its tracks.

"Impossible!"

Kuina shouted. One of her strongest techniques had been stopped so easily. No matter how hard she pushed, she couldn't move my stick even an inch.

Unable to break through, she leapt back and took a different stance. "Let's see if you can stop this one too."

When I saw her posture, I already knew what was coming. "Now," I said calmly, "I'll show you the Breath of All Things, something only truly skilled swordsmen can master."

"Then show me how skilled you really are," she replied, launching her final attack.

She raised her sword and struck with everything she had. "One Sword Style: Dragon's Dick penetrating virgin pussy!"

I remained motionless while taking a stance of my own.

"Wooden Stick Style: Not Cutting Paper."

In an instant, we passed through each other.

Plop!

Kuina dropped to her knees. Her sword flew from her hand and landed upright in the sand. She looked down at her body, confused. There wasn't a single wound.

'Impossible. Why am I not bleeding?'

She was certain that his stick had struck her.

From the side, anyone watching would have clearly seen my wooden stick hit her.

I turned slightly and spoke calmly.

"You lost."
