Chapter 83 - 83: Arriving At The Jurassic Park

Davis looked over and saw a grotesque shark emerging from the other side of the beach. It had three heads at the front, one head on each side, and another head at the tip of its tail.

Its four side heads acted like limbs, allowing it to move by propping itself up, while the smaller shark head on its tail pushed forward forcefully.

This bizarre creature was able to move rapidly across the rock face.

Moreover, its body was nearly eight meters long, even larger than a Great White Shark.

With Sand Sharks lurking ahead and the Six-Headed Shark closing in rapidly from behind,

even Davis, a former Marine, felt a surge of despair.

"Quick, go right—"

Someone panicked and ran toward the right.

The city center was only a few hundred meters away.

If they were lucky enough, they might survive the Sand Shark siege.

However, after taking only a few steps, a gigantic shark—far larger than the ordinary Sand Sharks and nearly twenty meters long—suddenly burst out of the sea of sand. It swallowed the unfortunate man in a single bite, smashed through the rock face, and then plunged back into the sand.

"Oh my God! What kind of monster is that?!"

"It's as big as a mountain!"

"Oh shit! This place isn't safe either! Did you see that? That monster can swim through rocks!"

"I can't take it anymore! I want to go home! I want to live!"

More and more people suffered mental breakdowns. Ignoring Davis's attempts to stop them, they scrambled toward the city center.

They were gambling that as long as they were faster than the others, they would survive.

Out of a hundred people, surely a few would be lucky enough.

If that was the case, why couldn't the lucky one be me?

However, what awaited them was not an escape route, but utter despair.

The giant monster whose fin towered above the rock face, along with countless smaller shark fins, cruised across the beach.

A slaughter was about to begin.

Davis couldn't bear to watch and closed his eyes.

Yet the screams he expected never came. Instead, he felt a violent tremor, followed by the ground shaking beneath his feet and deafening explosions echoing nearby.

What was happening?

Davis opened his eyes. "My God… flying sharks?!"

Brody, standing beside him with a crowbar in hand and his eyes tightly shut, trembled all over when he heard that and cried out in despair,

"The Flying Sharks are here too? We're doomed!"

When Brody finally opened his eyes, prepared to trade his life for one Flying Shark, he saw a sight he would never forget.

The Sand Sharks hidden beneath the sea of sand were violently shaken out of the ground by an overwhelming force.

White pillars of spiritual energy erupted like geysers, instantly shredding the Sand Sharks into bloody pulp.

Blood sprayed into the sky and rained down like droplets, splattering across everyone's faces and leaving them utterly stunned.

Even more astonishingly, the rock face and the sea of sand beneath their feet truly rose and fell like ocean waves.

Yet these waves did not harm the people at all. They existed only to seek out the Sand Sharks, hurl them into the air, and then annihilate them with pillars of spiritual energy.

Even the largest one—the gigantic Sand Shark nearly twenty meters long—was shattered by an even thicker pillar of spiritual energy.

Seeing this, the remaining Fatal Six-Headed Shark immediately turned toward the ocean without hesitation and fled, scuttling away on its "short little legs."

Its speed was faster than a running human, but after covering barely twenty meters, it was struck by a wave of spiritual energy surging through the sand, blasted into the air, and instantly pulverized by a descending pillar of spiritual energy.

Luke slowly walked toward the rock face, bringing Rose and the others along with him.

From beneath his feet, waves spread outward like a mobile phone's Wi-Fi signal, repeatedly sweeping across the entire sea of sand.

Only after all the red dots completely disappeared did Luke finally stop.

"Let's go. There's nothing fun left here."

Luke looked at the blood-soaked beach. The stench mixed with the smell of seawater meant this place was no longer the beautiful emerald-green Bay, but a bloody grinder.

"Luckily, we had you this time. If it had just been us coming here, I'm afraid…"

Relief was written all over Rose's face.

She didn't dare imagine what kind of nightmare she would have faced if she had brought Sharon here alone.

"It's fine. In the future, when you go out, it's best not to wander alone. This world… isn't as peaceful as you imagine."

Luke spoke casually as he stepped into a blue arcane halo beneath his feet.

Two seconds later, the group vanished quietly from the beach.

Only the stunned voices of Davis and Brody remained.

Brody's voice trembled slightly. "C-Captain… Luke isn't human, is he?"

Davis nodded solemnly. "Maybe… he's a god."

It's over.

Brody was completely dumbfounded.

He had actually wanted to steal a woman from a god? If Luke ever remembered him, wouldn't he end up as one of the corpses buried in this sea of blood?

"Captain, I want to resign!"

Brody decided to leave Emerald Bay, leave the United States, and run as far away as possible.

What if Luke thought of him one day? Wouldn't he be finished?

"That's right, I'll go to Asia! I'll go to Japan and South Korea. I heard U.S. citizens are treated like kings there."

"Separated by oceans… that guy shouldn't be able to find me, right?"

With trembling legs, Brody fled.

Davis didn't stop him.

After this incident, Davis no longer wanted to stay.

As the captain of the Baywatch Team, he had failed to prevent the disaster, which had resulted in the deaths of more than a hundred people.

That was something he simply couldn't accept.

He felt completely unworthy of the Baywatch Team title.

"Forget it. I'd better go back and continue raising gorillas.

The world of the superorder Selachimorpha is too profound. Primates are better.

At most, they just turn into slightly stronger white gorillas."

Davis thought of his good friend George.

Compared to the Fatal Six-Headed Shark and the gigantic Sand Sharks, George the white gorilla was practically a well-behaved baby.

Davis immediately booked a flight to the Santiago Wildlife Reserve in Chile, South America.

However, when he returned there,

he saw an enormous gorilla nearly four meters tall.

Davis was stunned.

"George? You mutated too?!"

On the other side, after Luke took Rose and the others away from the beach, he immediately booked plane tickets online.

They headed to Costa Rica the next day.

After that, they transferred to a cruise ship bound for Jurassic Park.

Thanks to the extensive promotion by International Genetic Technologies, tens of thousands of people set foot on this private island on the very first day Jurassic Park opened.

Without a doubt, it was a highly successful dinosaur exhibition.

However, after experiencing the incident at the beach, Rose and Sharon were still somewhat shaken.

Looking at the towering walls confining the dinosaurs, Rose couldn't help feeling uneasy. She instinctively clutched Luke's sleeve and whispered,

"Luke… these dinosaurs… they won't escape, right?"

Hearing this, Luke's expression turned strange. He didn't say a word, but Rose's face instantly went pale.

No way… not again?!
