I walk relaxed through the corridors of the dungeon. After only a few minutes, I already reach the boss room, which contains a giant bat along with several smaller bats. I run straight toward the monsters, and only 40 minutes later, I am already able to proceed to the fourth level. Arriving at the foot of the stairs, a huge mine system stretches out before me, featuring large crystals that sparkle beautifully and mine carts sitting on the tracks. I walk through the entire mine, and after a few minutes, I finally find the boss chamber, where a giant Mithril Golem stands. It is made of one of the hardest materials in the world, which automatically gives it both a strong attack and a strong defense. After only an hour, I finally manage to dismantle it into small Mithril cubes, which I naturally take with me right away.
The door to the fifth level opens, and I head straight down the stairs behind it. Reaching Level Five, another mine stretches out, though this time it is not gemstones, but coal. In the middle of the giant room stands a drill-like rod with a hose next to it. This is how they drill for oil in this country; in all other countries, they do it with magic by now, but magic seems generally underdeveloped here, whereas in the futuristic country, magic is very highly developed. I walk through the various corridors leading out of the main room, discovering several treasure chests. Sometimes there are traps, which I activate as training and survive, and sometimes there are ancient, rusty weapons inside.
After three hours, I finally find the boss chamber, but before I go in, I set up camp to spend the night there. The others will get by on their own; after all, it's only one day that I'm gone, and tomorrow would only be a quest day anyway. I lie down in my sleeping bag and create a barrier around myself so that I cannot be attacked by anything or anyone. The night passes peacefully, and the next morning, after I have eaten, I go straight into the boss chamber, where a normal Steel Golem stands with dynamite in its hand. In only 20 minutes, I manage to blow it up with its own dynamite, and the door to the sixth level is opened. I go down, and this area is like the entrance of a house: a giant space with two corridors. I take the left corridor first, which is full of pressure-plate traps. I dodge all the traps and arrive at a new treasure chest containing a piece of magical jewelry. I take it with me and head toward the boss room, which of course has to be directly on the other side. I arrive at the boss room and find a three-headed dog, which can fire a different element from each head. I finish it off using magic myself and am then able to proceed to the seventh level.
As I walk down, it starts getting hotter and hotter. "What the hell is this? I thought I was in a living area." Before me stretches a giant lava lake with columns of lava. I cast water magic to petrify the lava, and on top of that, I use ice magic to cool the stone down. I walk slowly across the lava lake. I arrive on the other side of the lake and sit down for a moment to relax, as it cost quite a bit of mana to create ice and water magic so cold that it wouldn't immediately vanish. After 10 minutes, I move on and find the boss room, which contains a giant Lava Golem made entirely of lava. This means I won't get far with physical attacks; I have to do exactly what I did with the lava lake. I cast a combination of ice and water magic, creating water with a temperature of -1000 degrees. The Lava Golem cools down quickly, and I am able to simply cut it into two halves.
The door to the eighth level opens slowly, and I can pass through. I reach the eighth level, which consists of only a single corridor, and at the end is a door to the boss room. I am just about to go through when I simply fall through the door and down into the ninth level. I land hard on the floor, breaking my arm; I scream out loud in pain.
"Ah, shit, that hurt." My arm is completely broken, and I can't heal it easily, which is why I have to finish the rest of the dungeon with a broken arm. I walk through house-like corridors; in every room, there is something that could have come from a normal house. I go into every single room, in which colored numbers are standing. It becomes immediately clear to me what they are supposed to mean.
"Good, then I just need to find the door." I run through the entire house, whether it's the dungeon-builder's bedroom or the bathroom. After 4 hours, I finally find the door, which requires 10 numbers. Next to it are colors, with the sequence of the colors written in front. I enter the sequence correctly.
"9 5 3 0 8 4 1 7 2 6." The code is correct, and the door opens as if by magic. I look through the door, but behind it is only the staircase to the tenth level. I look down with night-vision eyes to make sure it's not a trap this time. Does this mean that this riddle was the fight? But that must mean the 10th level will be the final battle. I go down the stairs and arrive in a giant arena where there are no paths, only this large space. A giant skeleton sits on a throne at the other end of the room. I approach the giant skeleton.
"You can talk, can't you, owner of the dungeon?" I continue toward him with a joyful smile. The stairs above close up, but it doesn't interest me; I just keep walking toward him, whereupon he smiles back at me.
"You're right, Min, or should I say: Nightmare of the Galaxy. Oh, I'm sorry, at this point in time, you aren't that yet," he says with an enthusiastic voice. He seems to know about the future; in that case, he will also know this fight. That means I just have to fight in a way that no human in this world fights—though, no, regardless of how I fight, it is in that future. I take out my dagger with my unbroken arm, while I will be casting magic the entire time with the broken arm.
"I am Furo, the oldest mage in the world and also the strongest human in the world," he says with a convincing voice and then stands up. I look around so that I don't overlook any traps. Furo suddenly disappears mid-movement; it doesn't even blur, he just vanishes and reappears behind me in just a millisecond. My eyes widen, and I block his attack at the last second with my dagger, which immediately shatters. I duck under his attack and quickly grab my second dagger, while preparing a protective shield with my other hand.
"Damn, how fast is this bastard?" I briefly close my eyes to activate the Mana-Eyes of the future, which I already used against the Star Orc Lord. But only a few seconds later, I notice a change: I can no longer foresee 3 seconds, but 10 seconds. I can just barely parry every one of Furo's attacks, but I can't start a single one myself. I stop planning the shield magic in advance and cast a dual magic of light magic, as it is strong against the undead, and fire, as light magic makes the undead flammable. I cast the magic on him; a bright, burning light appears around him. I quickly close my eyes, otherwise they would be burned away. Without seeing anything, I run toward him, dagger held firmly in my hand. I am just about to hit him when I suddenly fly into the void. I open my eyes again and see that Furo has dodged.
"How could he dodge? Wait, no, he is a..." I am hit by him and start coughing, which severely weakens my already broken arm even further. By now, I can't even cast magic with this arm anymore. I see Furo trying to attack from behind, which is why I disappear at the exact moment he appears and reappear behind him. Since he doesn't see it coming, I manage to land the first hit on my side. One of his ribs is directly cracked, and because of that, he can no longer hold his two-handed sword. I strike again and manage to break his arm as well. He reshapes the two-handed sword into a one-handed sword. I disappear again mid-movement and appear above him. This time he thinks I'm coming from behind and strikes exactly there. At the last moment, Furo notices that I am above him and tries to parry my strike. I feint a frontal strike, disappear in the air, and then strike from below. He flies high into the air with a painful and loud scream; many loud cracking noises erupt from Furo. I jump up and kick him downward, causing a huge crater to appear on the ground. You can only see his head and other body parts flying away.
"Wow, Furo, you were truly the most powerful of my opponents. Before this dungeon, I could never have defeated you. Even now, you would still be stronger if I hadn't been so sneaky and had an attack boost the whole time," I say honorably before the remains of Furo. A teleportation circle appears next to me, through which I can get back to the surface. I step inside and reappear a few seconds later at the surface. I head straight back to Himomania, the capital of Himo. I walk for several minutes before I can even see the city. Milo and the others are already looking for me worriedly along with guards. There is a commotion in the city because I am known as the leader of the hero troupe, even if it is complete nonsense. I arrive at Himomania and go inside, as there are no guards at the gate, except for one who is currently sleeping. I walk through the city while guards run past me and don't pay me any attention at all. I try to stop the next guard who runs past me, but at that exact moment, he simply walks through me. I stand there shocked.
"No, what is this, why..." I look around with desperate eyes. I slowly fall to my knees while tears slowly gather in my eyes.
"It can't be, am I no longer existent now?" I strike the ground dejectedly while slowly opening my status. My face brightens immediately when I see my status.
"What? Power: 6,950,400, Enchantment: Invisibility 1:44. I've never seen that before, but apparently I do still exist," I mutter quietly to myself. I slowly stand up again and go to our house. Since I am invisible, it's not even a problem for me.
"MIN!!" Everyone is calling for me. It becomes clear to me that I am being searched for by now; it seems everyone really was worried about me. I go into our house to rest a bit on the couch after this hard labyrinth. After a short time, I finally become visible again; at that exact moment, Kira enters the house.
"I'll just get something to drink for us, keep searching for now," Kira calls out to the others. She goes into the kitchen without seeing me, and then she comes back into the entrance area. She slowly lets the bottle fall from her hand.
"Min, is it really you?"
"You should be careful so the bottle doesn't break," I say, while cushioning the bottle with a self-created cloud. Kira's eyes slowly fill with tears; she runs toward me and hugs me directly.
"I thought something had happened to you." She starts crying while I calm her down a bit. I call the others to me as well while Kira slowly calms down. The others are currently standing in an alley near the house.
"That was Min's voice, I thought he had disappeared. She said we should come back." They run straight back home while I sit down normally and Kira sits down next to me. The others join us after a few minutes. I tell them everything that happened and also my current power. And only a few days later, we are at the current point. I am finished with my bath and then leave the bathroom. The day passes peacefully and beautifully otherwise. The next day, we start right away with the mini-tournament.
