We stand ready for battle before the army of demons. The King shouts the order to evacuate everything. The demon army charges toward the camp. Luna, Mia, Suri, Milo, Lilly, and I run forward as well.
"Then let's attack, you five!" I shout with a loud voice. Everyone nods to me in agreement. 100,000 against six—this will be fun, I hope. Unfortunately, I can't really use magic anymore, at most 30 minutes of the Future Eyes, with which I can see five seconds into the future, just like with the Star Orc Lord. But even with that, it will take at least an hour until I am finished here with the others. Yet, it is the easiest possibility.
"I need a plan," I mutter quietly to myself while dodging the demons one after another and even killing a few. But their numbers do not decrease. Mia slashes through one demon after another. She is overrun by twenty demons at once, whom she dispatches with two precise strokes of her katana. The guards run through the area in a panic, but none of them think to help. Suri has gone up onto a tower on the city wall to shoot from a distance with her bow. She draws the bow with five arrows and fires them. The arrows race over the camp, a hissing sound arises. They hit a total of ten demons, two per arrow. She immediately draws the next five arrows and hits ten demons again. Luna, who is very agile with the rapier, stabs demons. Her smile while doing so is almost eerie. It looks almost like meat on a skewer. Milo, just like me, spends the whole time just dodging the demons and kills a few on the side with his daggers. An arrow from Suri zips past Milo; the other four follow behind and almost hit Milo. He narrowly dodges.
"Watch out, Suri!" he screams with an angry voice.
"Oops, sorry!" Suri screams back to Milo, who simply turns around and continues fighting. However, Lilly is cleaning up well since she has a high mana capacity. I've already used mine up by now. I am becoming slower at dodging, just as my reaction time is becoming more sluggish. Naturally, the demons notice this, which is why almost all of them come charging at me.
"Shit, what should I do?" I mutter quietly to myself. I can't catch a clear thought; not even a remotely good idea comes to me. My head is like it's empty. The demons are getting closer and closer to me. Short interruption from me, the Min who is writing this: Back then, I didn't manage to deal with it, but I had possibilities like magic, because some mana was still there. But now it's too late anyway, okay, then let's continue. I look around, but no one is to be seen anymore. Everything in front of me becomes blurred before my eyes. I stumble back. The demons are now almost upon me. I slowly fall to the ground. My mind fades completely. I only feel how a tender hand catches me. Mia stands before me while I become completely unconscious. Milo comes too; everyone protects me with their lives. Mia is just about to cut through demons, but at that moment, a demon in human form, who looks like a guard, comes from behind. Milo notices it too late.
"Mia, watch out, or...!" He can't finish speaking before Mia turns around. Suri only sees from the tower of the wall how the guard raises the sword and strikes. Luna wants to run in between, where it is unfortunately already too late. Mia's chest down to her stomach shows a slightly diagonal cut. Blood pours out of her body.
"NO!!!!" Luna screams with a crying voice. She kneels down to Mia. Milo cuts the guard into a thousand pieces, his face full of rage and hatred for the demons.
"If only I had noticed that sooner!" Milo feels the self-reproach rising within him. Luna keeps screaming, while Suri breaks into tears but still continues fighting. Luna looks up and sees all the demons around her.
"I will kill you all!" Luna says it with a hatred that not even I could feel. Her bloodlust exceeds her deep grief over Mia's death. She runs through the crowd of demons almost as if she were flying. A sound rings out that sounds like pierced flesh and blood splattering. She kills a hundred demons at once.
"Only 80,000 demons left, keep going!" Lilly shouts with concern for me. She has meanwhile taken her hand off my head and laid my head on her lap. She pats my head lightly. Milo tries out a new technique that I showed him shortly before the demon attack. A Whirlwind-80-fold-Combo. At the beginning, he simply whirls like a spinning top through the monster crowd, whereby two hundred monsters die at once. Milo stops spinning as soon as he stands in the middle of a horde of demons. Only a second after he stopped spinning, he starts his first combo with eighty strikes. The first strike is from top left to bottom right, the second strike is with the other dagger from bottom left to top right. He repeats this with every strike. The third is like the first, the fourth like the second, and so on. After he has done the eighty-fold combo, he spins like a spinning top again just like at the very beginning. After the spinning, he starts the 160-fold combo, again in that sequence. After this combo, he whirls one last time. At the end of this giant attack, which lasted a total of two minutes, he kills 10,500 demons. Lilly's eyes widen, but not only her eyes widen; the others also look at him impressed.
"Wow, that makes it only 65,000 demons left," Lilly says with a slightly relaxed voice, while Luna is still in a rage. She stabs one demon after another. A huge bloodbath begins, whether with the demons or with us and Mia, who is slowly but surely losing her color. Suri no longer takes an arrow from the Quiver of Infinity but holds her right fingers as if she were holding an arrow in her hand. From her palm, a fire comes flying, which forms a large arrow that slowly begins to burn. Near her, one can feel the heat of the arrow. The metal of the catapults on the wall begins to melt. Milo notices the arrow as it forms and gives a signal for everyone to dodge. Suri draws the arrow, which blazes in bright flames. She fires it. It leaves a trail of flames as it flies. Everyone runs far away while the demons try to run away. Lilly casts an Earth-Softening-Spell while she carries me in her arms. Luna carries the cold Mia with her. Luna's clothing is full of blood. A large explosion appears and approx. 20,000 demons have died and 10,000 are seriously injured, leaving only 35,000 battle-ready demons alive. Lilly lays me on her lap again. The girls look at Lilly, who has me on her lap with a beaming face.
"Hey, I want to as well!" Luna says with a jealous voice.
"Me too, Lilly, that's unfair!" Suri screams just barely audibly.
Lilly stands up annoyed and takes her greatsword from her back. Luna puts her rapier away and kneels on the grass. My head now lies on her lap. Luna's eyes begin to sparkle with joy. She looks back at Mia's dead body, causing her mood to drop instantly. Even her healing magic has no effect on it. This truly is a battlefield between humans and demons. My life has turned even more toward the supernatural, but so has that of the girls. And Milo, who was reincarnated, has an exciting life instead of just university, as he had called it, and strange mangas and animes. Here he has friends. You can also see in his face that he is having fun fighting here. Luna calls Suri to her, who immediately comes hurrying. Suri jumps from the wall, lands relaxed and safely on the firm camp ground. Luna passes me to Suri.
"All of you have used your strongest attacks; now it's my turn. Go far away, it will be very dangerous," Luna says with a serious voice that matches her face, which is distorted with hatred. She throws Mia toward Milo, who catches her immediately. Her left hand is on the rapier and the right on the sheath of the rapier.
"Maybe Min can save Mia, so watch over her body," Luna says while she slowly draws the rapier. All 10,000 seriously injured demons look at her with fearful eyes. Luna lets her head sink so that she looks at the ground. A smile of the devil appears on her face. The gods watch everything through the crystal ball. Freyja's face is distorted with fear and anger at the same time.
"How is that possible?" Freyja asks with a wrathful, loud voice. Galaktika giggles quietly and inconspicuously. However, the gods notice it anyway, which is why they look at him questioning, as if he had said something derogatory. But he merely remains silent. In his head, an infinite amount is going on, something that the other gods could not even dream of. His thought revolves only around our group, as if we were some kind of powerful beings.
"What's wrong, Galaktika?" Mina asks with a smiling voice and face. Galaktika looks at Mina with empty but galactic eyes, as if infinite stars were shining in his eyes.
"Oh nothing, I just thought about how Hermes left out of fear of dying because of Min," Galaktika says as an excuse, which is only half true, because he is also thinking about what is still to come.
"Don't worry, even if it sounds stupid to say that to a god with a strength of 42,001,500, my demon henchmen will finish them off, because in three days..." He can't finish speaking because he suddenly sees what kind of attack Luna is starting. Luna raises the rapier slowly. Everything runs as if in slow motion, whether for the gods or the demons. Everything seems slower and is indeed slower. She has reached the top with her rapier, which she now holds above her head. She slowly closes her eyes. The demons notice her plan, but it is too late. The others have just barely escaped the radius of the attack. The tip of the rapier lights up in a bright, dark blue light, which radiates a certain coldness and warmth at the same time. The ground becomes covered with ice and the demons are frozen solid. Luna opens her eyes, which instead of green are now a beautiful mixture of dark blue, gray, and white. Like ice on the ground, the ice slowly rises higher, while at the tip of the rapier, a heat develops that would melt even the hardest metal. The heat spreads in the air within a radius of 10 km², causing the forest to catch fire where the magic ends. The demons begin to sweat. The ice goes higher and higher, while the heat goes deeper and deeper. After a few seconds, these two attacks collide with each other. Now Luna's hair turns snowy white on one half and flame red on the other half. The rapier is enveloped by small ice-splinter-shaped white-orange-red flames. The rapier takes on the colors of her eyes, in which ice-splinter-like patterns also form. A beautiful show of elegance and power. The demons have meanwhile been completely transformed into ice statues. The ice disappears and the heat as well, but her attack is only now truly beginning. She slowly brings the rapier down. The entire world continues to run in slow motion, only Luna is normally fast. Suri has my head on her lap. She doesn't notice it, because I created an illusion for her that I am still lying there, but actually, I am already standing there, as I seemingly can also move at normal speed. I watch Luna tensely with an impressed smile, as she has finally managed to use an attack of the royal house. She is the first girl in history who has managed to master this magic. Luna points the rapier straight at the demons standing right in front of her. With her left hand, she suggests a snap, and with the right, she holds the rapier firmly in her hand. My grin becomes wider with joy that she has finally managed to become who she always wanted to be: someone who can protect me. Since we met, she has become much stronger. Luna snaps. A beam that goes through the entire forest, which I crossed back then, kills every single demon that stood or lay there. Not even a speck of dust remains. Her hair color and eye color remain, only the glow of the rapier goes out at the moment the attack is over. I start to clap. The slow motion dissolves.
"Min, you're awake again! You have to save Mia, please!" Luna sounds panicked, even though she just accomplished something like that. She is truly incredible. Her face is also filled with panic. I look toward Mia, go to her. The others look at me confused. I take Mia from Milo's arms, lay her on the grass. A green light envelops Mia. In the background, everyone praises Luna for her work while I try to heal Mia. But there is no chance anymore. I stand up, look at Luna, who looks at me with hopeful eyes.
"Min, please say that you can save her. You are the most powerful human in the world, after all."
"Power is not what saves lives. Because no one can save a life, only take a life, anyone can do that, especially with power," I reply to her statement. Of course, I have also murdered before, but then I was conscious of it. Tears form in Luna's eyes, just as in the other faces, except for Lilly's. Her face remains completely normal, while mine is simply sad, but does not shed a tear. Kira comes running toward me. Kira hugs me with a broad smile.
"Good to see you're okay, Min!" she says with a voice so cheerful that one might think nothing had ever happened. She gives me just a short kiss. With the gods, it is rather quiet for what just happened. Kronus is talking to a strange person.
"Send them to Janobu, the capital of Manduro," Kronus says to the foreign person, who then simply agrees. But it is already clear to me that there will be something in all four large countries, since Lisa told me while I was lying unconscious in the laps of the girls. Then let me say what happened: I become unconscious. A few seconds later, a bright white light appears before my eyes, indicating that I will dream something again. A structure emerges again, this time that of a forest that looks like the forest in the direction of Manduro, the country where Kimura is. I look around slightly as bushes and such manifest.
"Hey Min, reunited sooner than expected, right?" I turn around to the voice, where Lisa stands, simply smiling.
