Chapter 145 - Chapter 144

Regarding option B, everyone conducted analyses under two different scenarios.

One of them was proposed by Black Widow: the Aether was still on the planet Svartalfheim. This scenario, naturally, could be ruled out without question.

If the Aether wasn't on Earth, how could it parasitize a scientist on Earth?

The other scenario assumed that the Aether had been transferred from Svartalfheim to Earth. This scenario, after Tony Stark's analysis, also had many unreasonable aspects.

It was also ruled out by everyone.

So, all things considered, option B could indeed be ruled out.

"Great! Then we have the answer to this question!" Thor's face immediately showed an expression of immense excitement. "This question is about me, so I'll answer it, right?"

As he spoke, Thor was eager to try, rubbing his hands, wanting to give the answer.

"Thor, we haven't ruled out option D yet. We don't know if Jane Foster can actually lift your hammer!"

Hawkeye Barton reminded Thor from the side.

"No, Barton, for me, D has already been ruled out!" Thor, however, said to Hawkeye Barton with a very confident tone.

"I choose A!"

Immediately after, Thor no longer paid attention to the opinions of the others, but directly spoke to the big screen, stating his answer.

No one was surprised by this; Thor was actually a very arrogant person, at times even more so than Tony Stark.

Thor truly would not believe that an ordinary human scientist could lift Mjolnir, no matter what.

"Answer correct!"

Fortunately, Thor answered this question correctly. Option D was indeed not the correct answer.

"Yes! I knew it! I told you D was impossible, didn't I!" Thor couldn't help but clap his hands and laugh heartily, his smugness almost overflowing from his face.

"Congratulations to the contestant Thor Odinson for receiving the reward: Lightning Release Ninjutsu, Chidori Sharp Spear!"

Immediately after,

the system began to distribute the reward, and some relevant information immediately appeared in Thor's mind.

At the same time, his body also naturally underwent some changes.

In an instant, Thor had already mastered that Lightning Release ninjutsu with extreme proficiency.

"Chidori Sharp Spear? This is practically tailor-made for me!" Thor's face showed a very satisfied expression, clapping his hands and laughing incessantly.

"Chidori Sharp Spear? What a strange name."

Tony Stark couldn't help but stare at Thor curiously from the side and asked, "So, Thor, what kind of ninjutsu is this exactly? To be honest, I've never seen what ninjutsu looks like."

Everyone else present also looked very interested, wanting to see what kind of ninjutsu the God of Thunder had just acquired.

"You all better watch closely!"

Thor laughed heartily, and then with a thought, tiny electrical arcs crackled all over his body.

Amidst the dazzling brilliance, a long blade, composed purely of lightning, materialized out of thin air.

Looking at it, it was as dazzling and brilliant as Nick Fury's plasma lightsaber, full of a unique beauty.

Buzz buzz buzz!

And with Thor's control, the lightning blade grew larger, smaller, thicker, and longer, undergoing all sorts of changes at will.

Everyone present watched in amazement.

Whoosh!

Thor then casually swung his hand, and the dazzling blade flashed past, directly cutting several large trees in half at the waist. The power was undoubtedly formidable.

"Thor, this is ninjutsu?"

Dr. Banner couldn't help but ask in surprise. This ninjutsu was a bit different from what he had imagined.

"That's right, this is Chidori Sharp Spear," Thor nodded, explaining to Dr. Banner.

He then added, "However, it's not the ninjutsu that's powerful, but rather I am powerful. This ninjutsu merely allows me to better control the power within me!"

Thor wasn't bragging about this.

In his hands, the Lightning Release ninjutsu's power far surpassed that of the ninjas in the Naruto world. After all, how much chakra do ninjas in the Naruto world have? How could it compare to Thor's divine power?

The Chidori Sharp Spear, when wielded by Thor, was completely incomparable to what Sasuke could do; the two were simply not on the same level.

The overwhelming power is beside the point; the sharp spear could only last for a moment in Sasuke's hands, but in Thor's hands, it could easily last him through the entire Battle of New York.

After all, the current Thor had already unleashed his full potential!

"Stark, do you think my blade can cut your armor in half?" Thor turned his head again, staring at Tony Stark with a provocative look.

"Theoretically, your lightning blade has more astonishing and sharper energy than Killian's arm, so..."

Tony Stark shrugged, "Right now, my armor can't block your lightning blade, but!"

There was always a 'but'.

"But! I wouldn't just stand there foolishly and let you chop me; I would have already sent you flying before you even drew your blade!"

"Secondly! These are just some of my early, immature armors, nothing more! Compared to these crude versions, Thor, do you only have this much vision?"

"Also, didn't I tell you before that my future nanotech armor can even withstand the energy of Thanos's Infinity Stones?"

When it comes to showing off, it's safe to say that ten Thors would be no match for Tony Stark.

"Question answered. Now playing the answer analysis!"

As the answer analysis began, everyone present temporarily refocused their minds, directing their attention to the video that was about to play.

This time, the first thing that caught everyone's eye in the video was a place resembling an abandoned building.

And on the empty ground, there were three people—one man and two women—walking cautiously forward, as if searching for something.

These three people were none other than the astrophysicist Jane Foster, Jane Foster's assistant and good friend Darcy, and a nameless intern who was a minor character.

Whoosh!

A sudden noise startled the group, who quickly turned around to see a flock of birds flapping their wings and flying past.

On the wall behind them, the shadows of several people running quickly flashed by.

It had all the hallmarks of a horror slasher film.

During this process, the faces of the three individuals appeared in the frame, and one of the faces immediately caught everyone's attention.

It caused everyone to feel very surprised and astonished.

"It's her! That woman from Asgard!"

Tony Stark was the first to exclaim in surprise, "Doesn't that woman have the Aether in her?"

But for this question, option A was chosen, infected by an unknown substance. Could it be that... everyone quickly realized that those unknown substances were actually the Aether?

Is the Aether really on Earth?

Then, wouldn't all their previous analyses regarding option B have been completely wrong?

"It's okay, we're Americans!"

Darcy's voice rang out as she raised her hands and shouted towards the direction where the figures had flashed.

"Will saying that make them like us?" Jane Foster commented, a little speechless.

But who would have thought, this trick actually worked.

The figures hidden in the dark all emerged, much to everyone's surprise; it turned out to be a group of children.

"They're just kids!" Jane Foster and the others also breathed a sigh of relief.

"Are you police?" One of the long-haired girls asked, looking at Jane Foster and the others with some vigilance.

"No, we're scientists! At least I am!" Jane Foster explained to them.

"Thank you! We found it by accident," the girl continued to say to Jane Foster.

"Can you show us?" Jane Foster asked, looking at them with anticipation.

The children exchanged glances and agreed to Jane Foster's request. They then led Jane Foster and the others to a mud tanker.

Everyone in front of the screen showed surprise, because that several-ton mud tanker was actually floating in the air, with all four wheels off the ground!

"This is... magnetic levitation?" Tony Stark immediately made a basic judgment.

But then, something even more surprising happened.

Because one of the black boys gently lifted the mud tanker with his hand, and the entire tanker, like a balloon, rose and flipped over.

"No, this is a special gravity field!" Tony Stark immediately made another, more reasonable judgment.

Next, the children led Jane Foster and the others up the stairs, took out a glass bottle, and threw it downstairs.

Whoosh!

The glass bottle immediately fell freely downwards, but when it reached a certain point in the air, it suddenly and mysteriously disappeared.

This scene made everyone present marvel in wonder.

However, what made everyone marvel even more was yet to come.

"Where did it go?"

Jane Foster also asked the children with a surprised expression.

The children, with profound looks on their faces, pointed upwards with their fingers, and Jane Foster and the others couldn't help but look up in unison.

Whoosh!

The glass bottle, which had disappeared, suddenly dropped from high in the sky, then fell to the place where it had originally vanished, disappearing again.

Then it reappeared from the high-altitude spot and fell downwards again.

This cycle repeated.

This kind of "spectacle" was the first time everyone present had witnessed it.

Jane Foster also conducted an experiment, then picked up an instrument, looked at the readings on it, and a surprised expression appeared on her face: "The last time such readings appeared was in..."

"New Mexico!" Darcy interjected.

New Mexico?

Everyone in front of the screen couldn't help but feel a stir in their hearts. New Mexico, wasn't that where Thor descended to Earth?

Is this a coincidence?

Or is there some connection between the two?

With this question in mind, everyone continued to focus intently on the video on the big screen.

Jane Foster was seen holding the instrument, checking the data while exploring and searching within the building.

Finally, she arrived outside a room.

But just then, an inexplicable suction force suddenly appeared, pulling Jane Foster forward, sending her flying fiercely towards that room, as if to "collide" with it.

Just as Jane Foster was about to hit the wall, a burst of energy fluctuation suddenly appeared there, and Jane Foster instantly found herself in another space.

Jane Foster herself didn't know what had happened, but everyone present saw it clearly: Jane Foster was no longer inside that building!

Everyone grew increasingly suspicious and curious. What exactly was going on inside this abandoned building?

It was truly bizarre!

However, according to the description in the question, Jane Foster should have been infected with that "unknown substance" here, right?

Everyone's guess was correct. After a final moment of slight panic, Jane Foster began to cautiously explore this space.

Soon, in a crevice between rocks, she saw a glowing red object.

Not only that, but that object was constantly wriggling!

That thing was alive!

"This is the 'unknown substance' mentioned in the question. Could it be the Aether?" Dr. Banner speculated.

Everyone present also had this suspicion.

If so, it would explain why the Dark Elves' weapon appeared in Asgard.

Everyone's guess was correct; that red unknown substance was indeed the Aether.

Jane Foster examined the Aether with a curious expression, like a scientist who had found excellent research material, but then, something unexpected suddenly happened.

Whoosh!

The Aether instantly rushed into Jane Foster's body.

Jane Foster swayed twice, then her body went limp, and she fell to the ground.

When Jane Foster opened her eyes again, she found herself outside the abandoned building on the ground, no longer in the previous alien space.

After looking around, Jane Foster stumbled out, only to find that the area had been cordoned off.

Several police cars were parked there, and some police officers were coming and going, conducting investigations and taking notes.

"Jane!"

Darcy, seeing Jane Foster's figure, rushed out to meet her.

"You called the police?" Jane Foster, however, complained to her.

"What else could I do?"

"Don't call the police! If you call the police, the police will notify the FBI, and then S.H.I.E.L.D. will descend from the sky and turn this place into Area 51."

"Jane~"

"We found a stable gravitational anomaly field that we can freely research, and our opponents are just a bunch of ten-year-old kids!"

"Jane! You were missing for five hours!"

"What?" Jane Foster was startled.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!

At this moment, it began to rain.

However, what was very strange was that the rainwater, as if it had a soul, automatically avoided Jane Foster and Darcy.

A "safe zone" formed around the two of them, with no rain falling inside the zone, while outside, heavy rain poured down.

It was simply bizarre.
