"First, let's see which of the options possesses such an ability!"
Captain America scanned the options on the big screen. "A, Stark. He can fly, so he can fly into the air to save people."
"But he can only save one, or two, at a time!" Black Widow shrugged and chimed in, "He can't possibly save all thirteen people in such a short amount of time."
Everyone agreed on this point. Iron Man could at most hold one person with each hand, two people at most.
By the time he saved those two people and returned to the surface of the sea, and then turned back again, the others would probably have already fallen to their deaths.
"He can actually fly?" Thor glanced at Iron Man with a surprised expression. "But Rogers is right, flying isn't enough in this situation."
"So Stark can be ruled out?" Coulson made a definitive statement, then looked at Thor again. "Thor, what about you? We don't know much about your abilities. Can you save all thirteen people in that situation?"
"Wait a minute!" Before Thor could answer, Iron Man suddenly jumped in. "You're ruling me out a bit too quickly, aren't you?"
"Stark, they're right. In such a short amount of time, you can only save a few people, not all of them." Nick Fury also chimed in at this point, agreeing with everyone's opinion.
"Your thinking is too limited. If it were me now, I certainly couldn't save all of them, but this is something that happens in the future!"
Iron Man said emphatically, correcting everyone's statement, "And my armor is constantly being updated and iterated. No one can imagine what capabilities my armor will have in the future right now!"
"So, even though I'm not clear yet what kind of armor I'll build in the future, the possibility of saving thirteen people exists!"
Everyone looked at each other, and for a moment, they really couldn't come up with any opposing opinions.
After all, Iron Man truly is a genius. It's not like he just researched one suit of armor in his lifetime and stopped there; he genuinely and continuously upgrades his armor.
This was evident in the footage.
The armor from the Battle of New York was clearly more advanced than his current armor, and the armor from Endgame was even more astonishing.
"Alright, Stark is TBD. So, Thor, what about you?" Black Widow's gaze returned to Thor.
"I can't do it!" Thor shook his head. "I can only fly when I swing my hammer quickly, which means I only have one hand to save people."
"Then Thor can be ruled out. What about the remaining two?" Coulson's gaze fell on the remaining two options.
"Scarlet Witch Wanda? She's the witch from Civil War. Although we still don't know what her exact abilities are, she can control a falling car remotely."
"For a witch as skilled in magic as her, saving those thirteen people should be doable, right?"
On this point, everyone also had no differing opinions.
In fact, they wouldn't be surprised if magic could do anything.
After all, magic itself is something that breaks conventions and established rules.
"Ant-Man? If Ant-Man can make his body as small as an ant, can he also make his body as big as a skyscraper?"
Iron Man finally looked at option D, resting his hand on his chin.
He also glanced at Nick Fury and asked, "Nick Fury, could the previous Ant-Man do something like that?"
"Hank Pym left S.H.I.E.L.D. many years ago. I only coincidentally saw some of his files." Nick Fury replied thoughtfully, "I don't recall any such record in the files,
but I agree with your point."
Not just Nick Fury, but everyone present agreed with this point.
After all, the Ant-Man suit can change the size of objects. Since it can shrink, it should also be able to enlarge.
Moreover, restoring a shrunken person to their original size is essentially an enlargement.
"If Ant-Man became as big as a skyscraper, he could also catch those thirteen people with his hands."
"So, out of the four options, we've only ruled out Thor?"
Captain America scanned everyone and said that this question seemed to have some difficulty.
"Captain, the speed of freefall is very fast. If someone could truly save those thirteen people before they hit the ground, whoever it was, that person must have been nearby!"
After some contemplation, Coulson began to express his opinion.
Because the time it takes to fall from a plane to the sea is very short, almost too short to notify any superhero to rush over from other places for rescue.
There simply isn't enough time.
So, whoever the rescuer was, they must have been near Air Force One.
As Coulson analyzed this, everyone's eyes lit up slightly.
Although so far, nothing useful seemed to have been analyzed, at least, a new line of thought had been opened.
The analysis had not entered a dead end.
"Given this situation, I can think of three possibilities!"
Coulson continued to elaborate under everyone's gaze.
"Either he happened to be on a yacht having a party or doing something else on the nearby sea;"
"Or, he knew in advance that Air Force One was going to be attacked, so he rushed over to help, and ended up encountering the thirteen passengers falling into the sea, so he saved them."
"Or…"
At this point, Coulson paused before continuing, "That person was already on Air Force One!"
"That sounds very reasonable!" Thor nodded. These three hypotheses indeed had no flaws.
"I think the 'happened to be nearby' point can be ruled out. The probability of such a coincidence is too low to consider."
Black Widow said seriously, "The second hypothetical situation is too complex, so let's put it aside for now. Let's first look at the third hypothesis: the rescuer was on Air Force One."
"Everyone, isn't this very interesting?"
After Black Widow said this, everyone felt like they were vaguely grasping something.
Because Air Force One is truly different from other planes. Anyone can take other planes, but Air Force One is the presidential plane, and only specific relevant personnel are qualified to be on it.
This could be a powerful screening condition.
"It is very interesting." Iron Man shrugged. "So the question becomes, which of the four people in the options could possibly be on the presidential plane?"
