[Third Person Pov]
"Bahahaha!! Your pee-pee is gone"
Clark pointed straight at Ken's completely smooth front and immediately collapsed sideways against the doorframe, one arm clutching his stomach as he completely lost it. Loud, unrestrained laughter poured out of him until he was gasping for air.
Ken stood frozen in place, face burning a deep, mortified red. He looked like he wanted the floor to open up and swallow him whole.
Momo clapped both hands over her mouth and spun away, shoulders shaking hard as she fought for control. It took her several long seconds before she could even risk turning back around. Lala, by contrast, simply watched Ken with open sympathy, her usual playful expression softened by genuine concern.
Momo's lips still twitched when she finally managed to speak. She reached over and smacked Clark hard across the shoulder. "Stop laughing! Can't you see how embarrassed he is? We should be supportive and trying to figure out how to help him!"
"Hahaha—I'm sorry—!" Clark wheezed, tears streaming from under his glasses. "I can't… I'm crying… that is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen—"
It took several long seconds before he could even begin to straighten up. He wiped roughly at his eyes beneath his lenses, still letting out the occasional residual snort.
Ken, looking like he was one second away from full-blown tears, hurriedly yanked his underwear back up and scrambled into the pants Clark had given him earlier, as if covering the empty space would somehow make the situation less real.
Clark finally managed a shuddering breath and walked over, placing a still-trembling hand on Ken's shoulder in what was clearly meant to be a supportive gesture. "Don't worry, Ms. Okarun. We'll help you get your penis back."
"Phttt—!" Momo choked, shoulders quaking all over again as she squeaked out, "Ms. Okarun—"
That was all it took. Clark burst into a fresh round of laughter and stumbled several steps away from Ken, completely unable to keep a straight face. Even Lala finally broke, covering her mouth as she started giggling at the nickname.
Okarun simply stood there, shoulders slumped and head hanging low, the picture of pure depression.
After a few more moments the others began to feel the weight of his misery. The laughter faded. Momo stepped closer and gently patted his back, her voice softening. "Hey… don't worry, okay? It's not permanent. We just have to find Turbo Granny and make her give your wee-wee back."
Clark, finally getting himself under control, nodded and added, "Our grandma should be able to help too. You should ask her for advice once she gets home."
Ken let out a long, shaky sigh of relief the moment he understood the condition wasn't permanent. The worst of the panic drained from his posture.
Then, without warning, everyone in the room froze.
The atmosphere around Clark shifted so abruptly it felt like the air itself had thickened. A strange, heavy pressure settled over the shrine, subtle but unmistakable. Lala was the first to notice the change on Clark's face.
"What's wrong?" she asked, concern creeping into her voice.
"We have company," Clark said simply.
Not even a second later an ominous chime rang through the shrine—the front doorbell. The sound made every muscle in the room go tense.
"Good company or bad company?" Momo asked, eyes narrowing.
Clark only scoffed. "That was the chime designed for the bad supernatural. What do you think?"
Momo gave a sharp nod and headed out of the room without another word. Ken and Lala quickly followed. Clark brought up the rear at a calm, unhurried pace.
His phone suddenly buzzed in his back pocket. He pulled it out and saw Miku's name on the screen—video call. Her profile picture was the little Superman plushie she had made of him. Clark's brows furrowed slightly as he accepted the call.
A shy girl appeared on the screen, hugging a pillow tightly to her chest.
"Watchu want?" Clark asked, already starting down the stairs.
"I saw the news and… I wanted to see if you were alright," Miku replied, her voice soft and almost apologetic.
"Why wouldn't I be?" Clark said, continuing downward. "And I already texted you that I was fine."
"I know… but I wanted to confirm visually. Just in case you were only saying that so I wouldn't worry." Her cheeks colored as she realized how it sounded. "I shouldn't have called. I'm sorry. Are you busy?"
"It's fine. I appreciate the concern." Clark stepped out onto the front porch and finally looked up at the thing waiting for them.
An enormous figure stood just beyond the gate—an absolute mountain of a creature that looked like a woodland sumo wrestler given monstrous life. It possessed thick tree-bark skin and a presence that made the air feel heavier just by existing.
"Nah, I'm not that busy." Clark casually turned his back on it, raised the phone high, and flashed a peace sign along with an calm smile. "By the way—say hi."
"WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!" Miku shrieked, shooting upright on her bed as she stared at the screen in pure bewilderment.
Clark calmly took a screenshot of her wide-eyed expression, then answered with a deadpan levity:
"Alien."
"What's happening…?" Momo muttered, her vision suddenly going blurry. A powerful wave of vertigo slammed into her. Beside her, Ken staggered as blood began gushing freely from both nostrils. The two of them collapsed to their knees almost at the same time.
"The black mist… it's poisonous," Momo managed to force out through gritted teeth.
Lala was already moving, looping an arm under Momo's and carefully helping her back to her feet while keeping a wary eye on the swirling darkness that now filled the air around them.
Clark handed his phone off to Sol with a quick gesture, letting the Sunstone dust hold it steady in the air. Then he turned fully toward the massive woodland alien and took a deep, controlled breath. A concentrated blast of air erupted from his lungs, shoving the poisonous black mist away from the group and pinning it harmlessly against the outer edges of the barrier walls that had closed them in.
Ken, still pale and wiping blood from his upper lip, looked nervously at the approaching creature. "Ms. Ayase… maybe it's best if you release the hold of Turbo Granny's power over me—"
"Don't," Clark interjected firmly without looking back. "You've already pushed your body hard enough today. You're exhausted. If you force that transformation now, your limbs would probably shoot off in different directions."
On the other end of the video call, Miku's voice came through small and awkward. "M-Maybe I should call you later…"
"No need. I won't take long," Clark answered casually, still watching the alien.
The woodland creature slammed one massive foot into the ground. "Give me your organs!" it bellowed. The impact sent a violent shockwave racing across the courtyard, cracking stone and threatening to overturn everything in its path.
Clark simply stomped down once. The counter-force completely nullified the shockwave before it could reach the others.
The alien roared and charged, each heavy step making the ground quake. Clark turned his head slightly toward Ken as he began walking forward at an almost leisurely pace.
"I thought you were a fan of mine," he said mildly. "Do you really have so little confidence that I can't handle this?"
Ken gave a crooked, embarrassed smile and rubbed the back of his head. "Haha… I just wanted to fight alongside you."
Clark glanced over his shoulder and offered a small, genuine smile. "Maybe some other day. This creature is too weak to be any real challenge."
The woodland alien closed the distance in a sumo stance, massive palm pulled back before it thrust downward with enough force to part the air itself.
Clark didn't even bother dodging. He simply reached up, grabbed the descending arm, and ripped the entire limb clean off with one effortless pull. He tossed the useless appendage aside like trash. In the same motion his fist shot forward. The raw pressure generated by the punch erased the entire upper half of the extraterrestrial in a single catastrophic blast of force.
What remained of the creature collapsed in a heavy, lifeless heap.
"Well, that's that," Clark said, dusting his hands off as he walked away from the remains.
Miku and Ken both stared wide-eyed, still processing what they had just witnessed. Even though they already knew how powerful Clark was, seeing it up close—seeing the residual pressure in the air—left them momentarily speechless.
Lala clapped her hands together in open delight. Momo, on the other hand, only scoffed and crossed her arms. "Show-off. I could've done that too if I wanted."
The barrier walls surrounding the shrine dissolved and crumbled away now that the intruder had been dealt with so completely. The threat hadn't even been given the chance to prove itself dangerous.
Clark plucked his phone out of the air where Sol had been holding it. "Anyway," he said into the camera as if nothing unusual had happened, "As I was saying before, I'm not that busy. I just got back home."
"…I see," Miku replied, clearly at a loss for words. Her lips twitched at his completely nonchalant tone. "I'm glad to see you're alright."
Lala suddenly leaned into the frame, beaming and waving cheerfully. "Hi, Miku!"
"Hey, Lala," Miku answered, a small, amused smile finally breaking through her earlier shock. The entire absurd situation was starting to feel more entertaining than terrifying.
