Warren's lips trembled slightly. "I didn't want to worry you, Mother."
His voice was barely audible.
Mu Ning sighed. "Your health is much more important than whether I worry."
She carefully adjusted her hold on him. "All right. We'll deal with this together."
Warren nodded weakly.
Mu Ning then turned toward Gwen. "What about you? Have you been sleeping properly?"
Gwen immediately shook her head. "I'm all right, Mother."
However, after noticing Mu Ning's serious expression, she quickly added, "Actually, I didn't sleep much last night either."
Mu Ning arched her brow, looking a bit worried. "Why?"
Gwen explained, "Brother suddenly started feeling strange last night."
She looked at Warren worriedly.
"I kept asking him what was wrong, but he wouldn't tell me."
"So you stayed awake with him?"
Gwen nodded.
"I didn't want him to be alone."
She continued, "We tried playing a game together because I thought it might help him relax."
