"I'm warning you, Max! Children need proper sleep to grow. If these two end up losing even an inch of their potential height because of your nonsense, I will definitely teach you a lesson!"
Max rubbed his arm helplessly before walking toward the dining table.
"Believe it or not, I was only playing a game last night. They're the ones who couldn't stop discussing the murder."
Mu Ning paused. "What?"
Max picked up a piece of toast and continued casually.
"They were so curious about the case that they started discussing all the murder mystery novels they've read. They kept coming up with theories about who the murderer might be and how the crime could have happened."
He shrugged, looking unconcerned.
"I wasn't even the one who started the conversation."
Hearing this, Mu Ning was momentarily speechless.
She had never expected her own children to be so interested in murder investigations.
She turned toward Warren and Gwen.
