He fell silent for a moment before adding,
"And I apologise for my previous behaviour. I shouldn't have constantly made sarcastic remarks about you. It was because of my immaturity. I often wanted to attract your attention, but instead, I ended up saying hurtful things."
While saying those words, he sounded particularly sincere.
