Mu Ning chuckled. "If you're talking about that Sun Guy, then yes. I did have a good relationship with him. But we had a falling-out at some point."
Liam hesitated before asking in a small voice, "Did you two date?"
Mu Ning shook her head. "No. He liked me. He confessed, and I rejected him. Things became a little strange after that."
As she spoke, she remembered how another woman had eventually ruined their relationship. She quickly shook her head and looked at Liam.
"Let's not talk about those things. Anyway, I'll help you with the Southern Wing. Just leave everything to me."
Liam looked at her for a moment before pulling her into his arms. "You don't need to put in so much effort for me."
Mu Ning chuckled. "Who said I'm putting in so much effort because I care about you?"
She looked at him with a teasing smile.
