Emily Thomas was stunned, staring at her own reflection in the mirror after being lectured by her brother Grigor Thomas and having the call hung up on her for the first time. Sometimes she felt the glamorous life on stage wasn't really what she wanted, not even everything she had now was what she truly wanted. Maybe the misunderstanding between her and Tobby Curry was growing deeper and deeper, taking them further and further in opposite directions. With a sigh, Emily put down her phone. Her manager on the side asked, "What's wrong? Why the sudden bad mood?"
Emily Thomas shook her head. "It's nothing."
Just then, the phone rang again. Emily glanced at it in surprise—it was Elizabeth Campbell calling. After she picked up, Elizabeth said she wanted to see her in person, because she was leaving and wanted to say goodbye to Emily.
"Okay, where are you? I'll come find you." Emily smiled.
