The hyena was going to pounce on Linda. But Linda wasn't just going to let it eat her!
She had survived worse in the beginning of it all.
Linda slid down, running under and in-between its legs to the other side of the room.
She hopped as fast as she could to the end of the room where there was another door. A back exit door.
Even though she wasn't sure if it was open, she still hopped as fast as her hinds could take her.
She had barely noticed someone was unlocking the same door when she heard the hungry giggle of the hyena behind. She was far beyond terrified.
Suddenly, she felt herself being picked up by strong hands.
At that moment, Linda had thought it was the hand of the hyena grabbing her, so she bit down so hard on the flesh with her eyes closed.
But... but the hand she bit on didn't have even a bit of hair or fur. It was as smooth as a baby's bum.
