Chapter 104 - Spoils and Summary

White Ghost whistled cheerfully as he raided the Flying Pirates' ship.

"This is mine. And this is mine.

And this entire room… definitely mine."

With one casual kick, he blew open the captain's quarters.

"Tch… Vander Decken, you disgusting creep. But credit where it's due—you collected decent loot."

Stacks of treasure chests glittered under the dim lantern light.

White Ghost swept them all into his storage bracelet with a satisfied hum.

Then he noticed several small, ornate boxes on the table.

"Huh… don't tell me he dragged up Devil Fruits along with the ships he sank?"

He opened the first.

Animal-Type: Ox-Ox Fruit, Model: Old Yellow Bull.

"Useful. Bag it."

Second box—

His grin widened.

Ancient Zoan: Tarbosaurus.

(A Cretaceous apex predator—bulkier cousin of the T. rex.)

"Now that's a good find."

Third box—

Cat-Cat Fruit, Leopard Model.

"A classic. Someone on my crew will love this."

Fourth box—

Ancient Zoan: Carcharodontosaurus.

(A giant carnivore over 14 meters long with blade-like teeth.)

"Man… this guy really liked dinosaurs."

Fifth box—

White Ghost paused.

Then burst into laughter.

Paramecia: Medical-Medical Fruit.

"Oh, you've GOT to be kidding me. Jackpot. Absolute jackpot!"

He held the fruit up reverently, turning it in his hands.

"Give this to a real doctor… combine it with Fishman Island's medicines, Chopper's Rumble Ball theories—

Just watch me create enhanced Zoans with almost no side effects."

He laughed again, delighted.

"Heaven is really helping me at this point. How am I not supposed to get rich?"

He crouched next to Vander Decken's unconscious body and began patting him down.

"Don't blame me. Even a mosquito is still meat."

He retrieved a folded map.

"A treasure map? You were hiding something, huh."

Inside the fishman's inner jacket was a tiny locked box.

White Ghost cracked it open.

Paramecia: Command-Command Fruit.

Allows the user to mobilize anything in a large radius—stone, metal, surroundings, weapons…

Legends said that with Awakening, it could even manipulate Haki flow on a battlefield.

White Ghost raised an eyebrow.

"…If awakened, this thing might rewrite wars. Insane."

He stored it away.

Then rose into the sunlight above the ship.

Time to take stock.

A single golden breath tore downward—

BOOOOM—!

Vander Decken's ship vanished into splinters.

Time to go home.

Back at Sabaody – Family Quarters

Kuro had already returned—with Señor Pink and his wife, Lucianne.

Lucianne sat quietly in her wheelchair, eyes empty, unable to speak or move.

The tragic result of a long-ago accident.

Everyone listened as Señor Pink told his story—

How he'd fallen in love, married her, and how tragedy after tragedy had left her bedridden and unresponsive.

How he had begun dressing like a baby—her favorite outfit on their son—just to coax a single smile from her.

Stella wiped her tears. Ain sniffled and hugged Lucianne gently.

Even the stoic warriors lowered their heads in respect.

Uta clung to Stella's arm, crying softly—she too had known abandonment and loneliness.

Wanda and the Mink youngsters trembled with sympathy.

Hiyori quietly held Uta's shoulders.

Brook placed a hand on Jango, who also looked shaken.

Kuro finally said,

"Now that you're with us, believe in White Ghost. His healing power is unmatched—he can cure what no surgeon even understands."

Uta nodded. "White-bro will help."

Señor Pink exhaled smoke slowly…

But for the first time in years, hope flickered in his eyes.

He had seen doctors fail countless times.

But White Ghost…

Somehow, he felt different.

A Dragon Returns

Everyone suddenly looked upward.

"White-bro is back."

Stella hurried into the courtyard.

White Ghost descended in a swirl of golden light, wings folding as he landed.

"White-bro!" Stella called, slowing herself from hugging him—especially with Señor Pink present.

White Ghost ruffled her hair with a smirk.

Then—

Stella leaned closer and sniffed.

White Ghost froze internally.

No way. I swam the whole way back. There shouldn't be anything left!

"…Jasmine," Stella murmured.

White Ghost stiffened.

Ah.

…Shyarly.

Stella narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

He pressed two fingers to her forehead.

"Don't overthink. I stopped at a café. That's all."

"Oww…!" She rubbed her brow, unconvinced.

Ain approached, sniffed once—

Her eyes narrowed even further.

"White-bro… you didn't…"

Everyone turned to stare at him with knowing expressions.

Brook made a muffled "Yohoho~" noise.

Jango held back a grin.

Even Kuro raised an eyebrow.

They had all been to Fishman Island.

They all knew exactly what kind of mermaids worked at cafés there.

White Ghost's face twitched.

"…I should've flown home."
