Fury kept looking at the large screen showing the world map.
"I hope we find him before he does anything major," Fury said.
The room became quiet for a moment.
Tony leaned back in his chair and waved a hand casually.
"Don't worry," Tony said. "If he plans to do anything major, he'll need to access the Tesseract again. The moment he does that, we'll detect the energy spike."
Bruce nodded while looking at the data on the screen.
"The cube releases a very specific radiation pattern," Bruce explained. "It's impossible to hide it completely. Once it activates again, our systems will catch it."
Clint crossed his arms.
"So basically we wait until he makes his major move."
"Pretty much," Tony said.
Natasha looked at Fury.
"And if he doesn't?"
Fury looked calm.
"He will," Fury said. "People like Loki always think they're smarter than everyone else. Eventually they slip."
Coulson nodded slightly.
"He also needs the Tesseract for whatever he's planning," Coulson added. "He can't avoid using it forever."
Sharon leaned against a table.
"Until then we should prepare," she said. "If Loki appears somewhere suddenly, we may not have much time."
Frank cracked his knuckles.
"That's fine with me," he said. "The sooner he shows up, the sooner we deal with him."
Tony smirked.
"I like the enthusiasm."
At that moment, one of the agents suddenly spoke.
"Sir!"
Everyone turned toward the large screen.
"What is it?" Fury asked.
"We just detected a small gamma fluctuation," the agent said while typing quickly.
Tony immediately moved closer to the screen.
"Show me."
The screen zoomed in on a location on the map.
Bruce adjusted his glasses and stared carefully.
"It's weak… very weak," Bruce said.
Tony frowned slightly.
"That's strange."
"Could it be Loki?" Natasha asked.
Bruce shook his head slowly.
"No… this signal is too small for the Tesseract."
Tony rubbed his chin.
"Then what caused it?"
The agent looked back at the data.
"It lasted less than one second."
"Where?" Fury asked.
"It's in Stuttgart, Germany," Tony replied while looking at the screen.
"Is there any major site nearby or something Loki might need there?" Sharon asked.
At that moment, her phone rang.
"It's Ethan," she said as she answered the call.
"I found Loki. He is in Stuttgart, and he is most likely after the iridium stored in the vault of the Schäfer Sicherheitsdienst Building," Ethan said.
"Iridium will most likely be used in the stabilization process of the Tesseract while opening the portal," Ethan continued.
"I saw the video of Loki arriving at the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility. The portal only remained stable for a short time before closing. Loki most likely needs iridium to stabilize it for a longer period."
"Which means he really plans to bring a large amount of force to Earth or why would he need a stabilized portal?"
"So, I suggest you get ready for an Alien invasion" Ethan said before cutting the call.
The room became completely silent.
Everyone looked at the screen.
Tony immediately started typing on the keyboard.
"Stuttgart… Schäfer Sicherheitsdienst," Tony said while pulling up the building data.
Bruce walked closer to the screen.
"That building handles high-security vault storage," Bruce said. "Rare metals, experimental materials, and government assets."
Tony pointed at the screen.
"And there it is. Iridium storage."
Fury turned toward the team.
"Looks like Ethan just confirmed our target."
Natasha straightened.
"So Loki is going there to steal the iridium."
"Exactly," Bruce said. "Without it, the portal device probably can't stay open long."
Clint pushed himself away from the table.
"So we stop him before he gets it."
Fury nodded.
"Prepare the quinjet."
Coulson immediately spoke into his communicator.
"Flight crew, ready a quinjet for immediate launch."
"Yes, sir," a voice replied.
Tony grabbed his jacket.
"Well, this just got interesting."
Bruce looked slightly nervous.
"Let's hope we arrive before he finishes whatever he's planning."
Frank checked his weapons calmly.
"Or we deal with him when he tries."
Natasha looked at Sharon.
"What did Ethan say he will do?"
Sharon lowered her phone.
"He just warned us to prepare for a possible alien invasion," she said.
"He is sure Loki will open the portal and bring in an army," Tony said.
"You don't know Ethan. If there is even a 1% chance of it happening, he might have already prepared various countermeasures for it," Coulson said with a chuckle, as the others nodded.
"He is way too cautious," Natasha said, nodding.
"That's his nature," Sharon said with a nod.
Fury looked at them for a moment.
"Cautious is good," he said. "Right now we need every advantage we can get."
Tony walked toward the exit.
"Well then, let's go meet our favorite Asgardian troublemaker."
The group quickly moved through the corridor toward the hangar.
Inside the massive hangar bay, the quinjet was already preparing for launch. The engines were humming as technicians finished the final checks.
Fury accompanied them to the jet and said, "Your mission is simple: prevent Loki from getting the iridium, capture him, and rescue the Captain if he is there with him."
The team nodded and went inside the quinjet.
The ramp slowly closed behind them.
"Everyone strapped in?" the pilot asked.
"Good to go," Tony replied.
Moments later, the quinjet lifted off from the helicarrier and accelerated into the night sky.
Inside the aircraft, a holographic map of Stuttgart appeared on the central screen.
Tony brought up the layout of the Schäfer Sicherheitsdienst building.
"High-security vault here," Tony said, pointing at the map. "Multiple reinforced doors, biometric locks, and about fifty security guards."
Clint whistled softly.
"Sounds like Loki picked the perfect place."
Natasha leaned forward slightly.
"He won't care about the guards," she said. "He'll control them."
Bruce looked worried.
"With that scepter, he can take control of people easily."
Frank loaded a magazine into his weapon.
"Then we avoid eye contact and stop him fast."
Tony smirked.
"I like the simple plan."
The quinjet flew across the dark sky, heading toward Germany.
Meanwhile, in Stuttgart, people were gathering in a large plaza near the building.
Some were walking, others were sitting at outdoor cafes.
And among them was Prince of Asgard, Loki.
