He continued typing without pause.

"Shoulder-mounted micro-missile ports," Ethan added. "Concealed under armor plating. Limited ammo. Smart targeting only."

Another window opened.

"Internal EMP pulse," he said. "Short range. Emergency use. Enough to shut down electronics without frying allies."

He leaned back slightly, thinking.

"Close-range combat dominance isn't enough," he muttered. "She needs area control."

He added more lines.

"Integrated combat shield," Ethan said. "Directional. Can be deployed instantly in front or around vital targets."

Then mobility.

"Reinforced actuators," he said. "Increase output by forty percent without stressing the frame."

"Micro-thrusters in legs and back," he added. "Burst movement and long distance sustained flight."

He tapped the desk once.

"Reaction speed limiter removed," Ethan said calmly. "Only I can set a cap if needed."

Next came durability.

"Vibranium-infused inner frame," he said. "Thin layers. Enough to absorb heavy impacts."

"And keep the design open," he added, "so that in the future, if I acquire gravitonium, I can use it on her."

Then came the control systems.

"Independent battlefield AI," Ethan said. "Still subordinate to me. Capable of making tactical decisions without waiting for orders."

He paused, then typed one final line.

"Absolute loyalty protocol remains unchanged."

Ethan stared at the finished upgrade list for a long moment.

Then he nodded.

"That should do it."

He saved the file and pushed back from the desk. New fabrication timers appeared in his vision, counting down as the system accepted the designs.

"Most of this will take time," he said quietly. "And a lot of rare materials."

He stood up and walked across the lab, opening a reinforced cabinet. Inside were sealed containers, glowing cores, and components that most governments would kill to get their hands on.

"I'll start with the internal systems first," Ethan said. "Weapons and frame upgrades can come later."

Ethan looked over the whole plans once again and then nodded.

"Good."

He glanced toward the doorway, where Storm and 2B had already left.

Ethan looked at the doorway for a few seconds, then turned back to his screen.

"I'll upgrade her later," he muttered. "She needs time to get used to this world first."

He closed the upgrade file and minimized the schematics.

"Too many changes at once would be a mistake," he said to himself. "Even a combat android needs adaptation time."

With a few commands, he locked the upgrade plans behind a high-level authorization seal. Only he could open them again.

Then he shifted his focus.

"Alright," Ethan said quietly. "Back to work."

Multiple project windows opened in front of him—ongoing experiments, material research, energy models, and system tasks that had been waiting for his attention.

He pulled up one of the files and frowned slightly.

"Resource acquisition is still too slow," he said. "I'll need a better supply chain."

Another file opened.

"I also need to get more security on the transport of Vibranium" he mumbled.

Ethan sat down again, fingers moving across the interface with calm precision.

The lab lights dimmed automatically as the system shifted into long-term work mode.

Outside, Storm and 2B were testing new limits.

Inside, Ethan kept working, just as he always did.

A week later—

Ethan glanced at this month's gacha results. He had pulled a set of power armor from Fallout, but he ignored it. Compared to his own designs, it was bulky and outdated. He already had far more advanced armor—more compact, more efficient, and better integrated.

Right now, though, he wasn't working.

He was getting ready.

Today was the annual meeting at his company, Araska. It was one of the rare times he actually had to show up in person. Even then, he only attended this single meeting. The rest of the time, he stayed locked away in his room or lab, letting others handle the public side of things.

Ethan adjusted his clothes and checked his appearance in the mirror.

"…Annoying," he muttered.

Still, some things couldn't be avoided.

With one last glance at the lab, he turned and prepared to leave.

Ethan stepped out of the lab and headed upstairs.

Storm was already waiting.

He was dressed in a clean white business suit, sharp and perfectly fitted. To anyone else, it looked normal—but Ethan knew better. The suit could instantly convert into combat armor if needed. Around Storm's waist was a simple-looking belt made of vibranium.

That belt was anything but simple.

With a command, it could turn into a straight sword, a whip sword, or shift between forms mid-combat. Storm also carried a few other concealed tools on him, all hidden in plain sight.

Ethan gave him a brief look and nodded.

"Ready?"

"Yes," Storm replied. "Security is covered."

They moved forward together.

In the hallway ahead, Sharon was waiting.

She wore a red velvet backless dress, elegant and confident. Her presence alone drew attention. Beside her stood Aria—the new name Sharon had given 2B after insisting that "2B" sounded crude.

Aria was dressed in a simple black formal dress. No weapons visible. No armor showing. She looked like a quiet assistant—but her posture, her awareness, and her eyes said otherwise.

Both women were beautiful enough to turn heads the moment they stepped into any room.

Ethan noticed.

And sighed.

"…This is going to be annoying," he muttered.

Sharon smiled faintly."You say that every year."

Yeah—and if you stopped wearing such sexy dresses, maybe people would stop giving me 'Nice choice' look, Ethan thought dryly. He kept his face neutral and spoke aloud instead.

"You look beautiful," he said. "And Aria you too."

Sharon smiled at that, clearly pleased.

"And you look like a kid who was forcibly dragged to an adult party where he doesn't want to be," she teased.

"At least try to smile and remove that frown from your face," she added.

Ethan shrugged.

"As you wish."

Aria adjusted her glasses and spoke calmly."Schedule confirmed. Arrival in twelve minutes. All routes secured."

"Not today, Aria," Sharon said gently. "Just act normal. You don't have to be my assistant today."

Aria nodded in understanding.

Currently, Aria only had minimal modifications installed—two concealed arm-rail emitters, along with small jets in her legs and hands for flight and burst movement.
