Darain, after his confrontation with Kayle, walked towards his chamber only thing on his mind was the bed after the tiring day, but when he reached the door, someone was already waiting there with Reina, impatiently, arms crossed, her face seemed frustrated.
"Oh, princess, it seems you have missed your brother so long," he said to the impatiently waiting Rinella. "Shut up, Darian, who was waiting for you anyway besides me was just passing here." She refuses Darian's question.
"I see the princess passing through the forgotten wing of the castle, moreover, standing in front of my room? I guess you really need a map, "Darian teased her.
"Shut up, Darian! Don't pretend like you don't know the reason for my visit?" she replies to Darian's teasing.
"Sorry, Sorry, teasing you is fun, Rinella." He laughs at the troll. "Anyway, the corridor isn't the place to have converstion about coming inside, also Reina!"
Reina understood the ordeal. She bowed and left both of them for their private meeting. Darian entered his chamber, followed by Rinella. Both sit on chairs facing each other on opposite sides.
"So," Darian said, dropping his act as he leaned his table towards Rinella, "lets adress the elephant in the room. Did you find about the man who i askewd to find him ?"
Rinella lets out a huff, smoothing her expression. "Yes, my people found the person you asked me to look for, Darian."
Darian's eyes gleamed; his exhaustion vanished and was replaced with enthusiasm. "Where is he?"
"Hold your horse, idiot!" Rinella snapped back at Darian's enthusiasm.
"Ammm... Sorry for that," he cleared his throat and relaxed, "I got excited. He is abn immport piece of my plan."
Rinella thought to herself What is he planning? I can't read him at all mits like he is different than always.
"My shadows found him staying at a village a little far from the captial they are constantly watching his every move. It takes some time to get there."
"Hmmmm..."A Village near, huh, i though he would be a little far from the empire!" Darian muttered to himself. Either way, having Rinella do the legwork saved me weeks, No! Months of searching.
"Okey sister," Darian nodded decisively."Bring me there Tommorow and I will do my part of the deal."
Rinella crossed her arms and replied," You better keep the promise, or else there won't be any other future help from me."
"Sure, sure," he laughed and brushed it off.
She turned her back to leave, "And also, it's good to see you in Castle Darian." She was kind of happy to see him, but didn't let that expression out.
Darian smiled," You too, sister."
She exits the room after the meeting.
Finally i am alone. Darain jumped onto the bed. "Oh, I missed bed so much. Finally, I can rest."
After the travel and entire ordeal that happened today, he was completely tiered he closed his eyes, and that night, Darian slept like an animal after a long time.
When the morning sun shone, a sharp knocking pulled Darian from his slumber.
KNOCK.....KNOCK...
"Your highness?" A soft voice called out
Darian gronaed burying his face in bed, "five more minutes, Faeyleen...."
"Your Highness, please wake up." The door slowly opened, and thereina stepped in. She had a letter, which was the reason for her interrupting Darian's sleep.
Drain sat up, his hair was messier than usual, and he let a big yawn. "What is it, Reina?"
Reina hands over the sealed envelope she had in her hands to Darian." The princess's maid delivered this for you."
Darian rubbed his sleepy eyes and opened the letter, reading its content. Darian understood the motive of the letter. "I see, Reian, prepare a bath and something decent to wear! I have an early meeting."
"Right away, Your Highness."
Forty minutes later, Darian looked like a human again, clean well dressed and in a new royal attire befitting his new broad and muscular body. He took a little hair trim and finally, after all these months, he looked like a noble and different from the past. Even Reina Dazzled at Darian's new makeover while walking over the corridor, people started to look at him with awe. Finally, after the long walk with assistance, he reached the princess quater he rushed open the door, Rinella was there sitting and waiting for him, drinking her tea with her eyes closed.
"You made me wait so long, Darain !" she answered, opening her eyes. She was shocked seeing his new look," Wait darian what happened to your hair?"
"What? Is there any probelem" he asked her, adjusting his hair.
"No… no. It suits you better. Either way, I hope you read the letter."
"Where is he now rinella?" Darian asked Rinella.
She snapped her finger, and a masked figure stepped forward, gripped a person at his collarbone and shoulder. The person's hair was visible. He threw that man to the ground.
Darian inspected the person. He had wavy ginger hair and well-rimmed glasses on his face; his hands were restrained, along with his mouth, and his expression wasn't scary, more like confused. Good job, Rinella Darian thought to himself.
He looked at rinella "Sister," raising an eyebrow.
She snapped his finger agian "Release him."
The hooded person sliced his restraints. The man stumbles forward, rubbing his wrists, his eyes darting between Rinella and Darian with panic.
"Who are you people? Why were you following me for weeks?" he shouted. "Why did you kidnap me? This is a crime, you know! I have my rights! Release me this instance! now!"
Darian imgnoring the outburst, walked towards him slowely his eyes locking with the not-so-strange face person invading his personal space he fimlced back pressiung his back against the wall, "wha-what you want?"
Darian leaned towards him to his ear.
"Hello, Julian. Are you okay?"
It was just simple words, but the man froze, his pupil dilated, and he became anxious. The simple weren't, helmic or any other language from this world, it was from Min Jun's world 'English'.
"Who..." the ginger-haired man asked Darian, his voice trembling violently. "Who are you?"
