"Grand- Grandfather?" April muttered in shock "What are you doing here? I was just about to come see you." She continued asking as her eyes brightened.
Grandfather Brook cleared his throat and walked in with a frown on his face while Evan also walked in from behind. "Look at you, so you really planned on not telling me that you were not feeling well? Why didn't you tell me? If it's not that I was well informed, then I would have thought you were doing well on your own without Lucas in the house."
As his clear voice resounded firm in the large room, he walked closer sitting on the couch. "You had me worried, dear. I couldn't even imagine how much you've been through." He sighed deeply, staring at April and Ruby.
"I– I didn't want to worry you. Besides– you're at the age now, you need to be in a more relaxed state. That's why I thought there was no need to tell you. I was coming to see you instead, and you wouldn't have to worry." April replied in a low, soft voice.
