Suddenly a loud clapping sound came from the fountain area. Everyone looked towards there. A professor, with a smile on her face, stood on top of a floating piece of earth.
"Okay, I see everyone is here", she looked around, making sure that everyone is here. She felt bubbly for a professor.
"Okay, kiddo's time to move. Do you see that building near the gates" She pointed towards a large building. "Line up and head inside, you have an hour." She smiled before floating towards the roof of the building.
The students slowly started to move towards the building.
"Woah!! Did you see!! She was flying!! Makes me wonder if I can do that too!!", Xena exclaimed.
"Guess walking is considered a luxury, huh?", Aura remarked sarcastically.
"Let's just get inside, and get this over with." Ezra interrupted her and dragged them both towards the building.
After a while, every student lined up in a big hall inside the building. The right side of the hall is lined by the older fourth year students and the left side lined by the newer first year students.
The door shuts behind them all the moment the last student enters and lines up.
All the professors are lined up on the stage.
A female professor came up to the podium and magical particles, small but shimmering, scattered around, seemingly amplifying every sound.
"Dear students, Welcome to the Enchanted Arcane Academy. I am your principal, Madora Vienna Furlen, you can call me Mrs. Madora or Mrs. Furlen. Now I know you all are very excited for your first day at the academy, and a warm welcome to the new students. But before that we'll have to sort you newer students into their houses." She smiled sweetly.
"Here at the academy, we have seven houses, each with their own little quirks. Let's start with the house introductions shall we?", she smiled as magic particles began to float around the hall.
"First we have the Seraphim house", part of the magic particles move towards the center of the room, above the students and forms a black book, which open to a silver moon with a purple eyes in the middle floating out in the middle. It slowly moves above to the stage
"Next is the Twilight house", part of the magic particles moves and forms a reddish fog all around the room, and suddenly a black skull forms above them and roars like it's alive. It slowly moves towards the left. the seraphim house emblem.
"Next is the Obsidian house", magic swirls around and a black shield is formed above all, but suddenly it cracks and a grey mist comes out. It moves towards the right of Seraphim's emblem
"Moving on to the house of Melbourne", small yellow patterns start to form all around the room, with glowing white magic circles that constantly changed shapes floating all around. The all the patterns suddenly shrink and all the magic circles overlap eachother. It moves towards the left of Twilight's emblem.
"Next is Eldritch", a small ethereal tablet covered with moss forms above their head which slowly transforms into bronze medallians and then back into the ethereal storm tablet and then back, constantly following that pattern. It slowly moves the right of obsidian's emblem.
"Then is Derenyll", more magic particles gather in one place and forms a bright silver sword with a pinkish hilt and many planet rings, planet and starts surrounding it. It moves towards the left of Melbourne's emblem.
"Last but not least, we have Wisteria", the remaining magic particles float towards the center of the room and a flask filled with colour changing liquid forms, with a blue Spherical shield forms around the flask. It slowly moves towards the right of Eldritch.
All the house emblems float on top of the stage brightly.
"The sorting ceremony will take place tomorrow morning, right here, at 8 O'clock sharp. All new students are required to be present in the hall before 7:45 AM. For today, you will be assorted to general dorms and you will be sorted into your respective houses and dorms tomorrow morning after the ceremony. You are free to look around and familiarize yourself with the campus grounds until dinner is served in the cafeteria.", she smile as the emblems starts to disintegrate back into magic particles.
"A warning to all new students, and to our troubling older one's, don't enter the staff premises until and unless you have a staff member or older student council member assisting you.", she noted with a firm expression on her face as she looked at all the students.
"For now, I'll conclude this ceremony and I hope you all will follow the rules and regulations. Thank you and enjoy the rest of the day.", she smiles and suddenly red smog surrounds her and as soon as it dissipated, she no longer was in her place.
The doors open behind the students and everyone slowly start to exit the building.
"Did you guys see that?!! She just disappeared like that!!", Xena exclaimed.
"Guess walking is optional." Aura remarked like she's stating and fact, with her one hand on her hips.
"Though it did look pretty, you gotta agree" Ezra agreed with Xena.
"Makes me wonder if she controlled magic display all on her own, or with some artifact?" She wondered out loud and continued to mumbles under her breath all the possibilities.
"Wanna leave her to her thoughts or drag her out?" Aura looks Xena while pointing at Ezra.
"Drag her out, of course!!", Xena smiled. "Come on Ezzi", she drags Ezra along with her while Ezra continue to ponder. Aura follows behind them as they exit the building.
