Trigger Warning: Animal Violence and Sociapathic thought process. Very dark
Time passed, days passed.
I saw another small animal again. A rabbit.
I looked straight into its big black eyes. It had soft fur, should only be slightly bigger than the small owl and smaller than the rabbit I saw being readied for eating. I remembered the scream like that of a child later that day. Baby rabbit's scream sounds like a child's.
I remember everything that happened like a blur.
A small thought asked how would it feel to listen to it scream? The sensation of its small bones being crushed in my hand.
The small thought felt it was exhilarating. Was this what psychopaths felt?
It felt horrifying thinking I was one, but somehow the horrifyingness was even more exhilarating and the small thought became the only color in the grey world. Just like the rabbit's eyes.
Why bother to be kind and sympathetic? I'd rather be honest rather than a hypocrite, so I'll admit it.
I need to kill it, I need to kill it.
Why do people like to talk about animal violence? What's the point of being kind?
We are all parasites who'd do anything to live. Children are parasites. Despite what their parents do, feeding them, changing their clothes, and doing everything for them without asking anything in return, children act up get angry and ignore their parents.
There was an old woman at the hospital, always waiting for her daughter to call. The only time her daughter came she got angry and called her mother a parasite leeching off of her with hospital bills. But isn't she the real parasite? Sucking everything from her parents and then wanting to leave her. I think she wouldn't have paid for the bills if she weren't worried about her image.
I laughed and then stopped.
My head was hurting. It was not exhilarating anymore. The rush had ended. Despite suffering from a milder migraine than my past life, I went to sleep.
I woke up.
Standing in front of yet another white door, I asked.
"Safe?"
And went in.
I fell asleep again and again and again until about me day a voice laced with spring called to me.
"Yun,"
The youthful ring struck my heart.
Everywhere outside of my head was quiet and I was standing in the middle of a crater again. The corpses I'd brought were gone.
It was nice to lose control. I felt empty afterward. Just the right kind of empty.
"What are you doing here?"
"She sent me back."
"Yun, I've begun taking care of the curse again. So you don't need to worry."
I screamed inside.
It was quiet. But somehow the wind still blew and a gust of dust rose.
I'm a disappointment aren't I?
But I feel nothing about that. I should hate myself. If it were anyone else they would've been marching to the last floor and be fired up trying to overcome the white figure that controls me.
Yet I don't feel anything.
I am a disappointment. It should've been someone else who reincarnated instead of someone like me.
So? A voice asked.
Do I have to be perfect? Do I have to be like the perfect isekai kidos walking around overcoming themselves being bland and like a toy made for self insert?
The word is just stuck at the end of my tongue. And I can't even get it out.
You should move.
"Yun?"
A voice called.
"Yes?"
It didn't answer for a moment but then began, "Are you okay?"
I laughed and stopped laughing, "I'm fine."
74th floor.
A place with green sky and flying dinosaurs.
Kill it, kill everyone.
Destroy.
Make it burn.
An acid rain fell. The green blood fell and painted the entire world green.
We found the floor boss in a cave where the surrounding was covered . A small grey bird with red eyes that looked just like a hummingbird.
"You have entered the 79th floor boss room, Breath of Death."
Unceremoniously it blew up and died.
"Congratulations, you have...."
I went into the white door.
Pitch black and the sensation of weightlessness, but the sound of vibrations and water rippling.
"You have entered the 80th floor boss room, Dangerous Beauty."
I forgot the burn the previous floor. Nevermind the firing squad is still okay.
The sound of a heartbeat thumped in the air. In the water seismic wave like light bands travelelled outward. The slightly illuminated parts of the ocean revealed the place to be empty and without end.
The bands went out for a long time, long enough to make an explosion big enough to take up all of my consciousness particles.
And suddenly the seismic bands stopped and it became all white.
