Roxanna's eyes moved quickly across the glowing panels of the system's market. Weapon after weapon flashed before her. There were blades, spears, whips, bows, and even strange tools she didn't even recognize.
There were weapons made for close combat and others meant for long-distance attacks. There were so many choices, but the prices shown all exceeded 15,000 SP, a cost that could be considered extremely expensive.
[If I buy three weapons, that means I'll have to spend 45,000 SP,] Roxanna thought bitterly. [That's so expensive! I'd lose almost everything I gained from my last mission!]
Roxanna let out a soft sigh. [But… 45,000 SP is nothing compared to Azul's safety.]
Before she could choose any weapons, Calen spoke, "Roxanna."
Roxanna turned to him and let him continue his words. "Since you've never used a weapon in battle, let Azul and me fight for you."
