"Look who is here."
Li Chang went through the memories in his head, trying to guess who might be the spy, when a familiar voice sounded from the enemy's side.
The Hang soldiers parted, revealing a figure riding a brown horse. Li Chang and the Xie soldiers' pupils contracted violently. The soldiers gasped in shock while Li Chang's expression turned hideous.
"Finally... I was getting so bored."
The figure waved lazily at them. "Welcome to our territory, Xie army~" he said, a mischievous smile playing on his lips as if mocking their naivety.
Li Chang remained still. It took him a moment to return to his senses.
"Commander… Yu."
He slowly spat out those words through gritted teeth. His disbelief turned into a fire of anger flaring up in his chest, but more than anger, he felt betrayed and unwilling to accept this as the truth.
