Chapter 81 - A Never Ending

Raya wiped blood from the corner of her lips.

Her hand a blaze.

"This guy...fighting back"

Raya thought.

"I wont be able to keep this form for long"

She scanned the beast up and down.

She flew back down.

Landing on her knees.

She coughed blood.

"Dang it...I need just....one minute"

She held her side.

She looked up at the beast as the queen raised her foot and brought it back down right over Raya.

Raya rolled out the way.

"Thats It!"

Raya thought.

She kept punching the ground each punch shaking the rock mountain.

The Crack started to spread through the the rigid edges.

CRACKLE.

BOOM!.

The mountain broke apart.

"NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"

Beatrice yelled as she fell.

Ash woke up his vision groggy as he sat up looking a this hands.

"What happened?"

He asked himself.

He turned his head to see Beatrice unconscious.

He froze at what he saw.

The bald council women.

Dead.

Her head landed on a rock.

Orrin unconscious.

"Where's Casper?"

He wondered.

He turned a little more to see dying queen.

He stood up slowly walking toward her.

He raised his blade.

He crawled on top of her enormous body.

He sent his blade back to flames.

He plunged into her throat and twisted burning the queen alive.

Ash looked at the rewards completely drained as if he had been fighting all day.

Few hours later.

Beatrice and the other survivor's sat outside mourning for the council lady.

"Even if...she wanted to stay behind these wall...she knew it was to protect the people she cared about...even if her way of explaining wasn't always the best"

Beatrice said between her cries.

Casper Orrin kept they're heads down.

Ash wasn't even there he knew all to well he had to right to be.

Even if they won in the end because of him and Beatrice they lost someone.

"It was my fault"

Beatrice wiped a tear from her eye.

"No it wasn't"

Casper tried comfort her.

A council member looked up.

"No she's right it was her fault...if she hadn't thrown a tantrum he wouldn't be having this funeral!"

He yelled.

"Even if she is...at the end of the day I'm sure she'd be happy to know the queen can't hurt us anymore...and never will"

Orrin said.

The man scoffed at looked away.

Orrin looked at Casper as he talked to Beatrice before looking back down at the head stone.

"I failed, madam I was supposed to ensure everyone stayed sage but I failed."

"I hope with this victory, you will forgive me"

He bowed.

Casper gave the head stone flowers.

Slowly but surely the grave sight got emptier and emptier.

Only if they knew what lied ahead Maby this wouldn't have been the worst.
