This is 'Lan' speaking…
Out of the context of the story-lore novel itself, I want to inform you of the structure this novel follows. (So you can understand, of course.)
Basically, it's like this:
Novel
⤷ Arcs (Japan Arc, China Arc, etc.)
⤷ Diegesis (e.g., 'New Acquaintance')
- In the diegesis, there will be parts as well.
⤷ Chapter (e.g., Ch. 1, Ch. 2, Ch. 3 … etc.)
Parts = Chapters
1 part = 1 chapter
It's pretty simple, actually.
The parts inside of the diegesis are the same as with the chapter, but the chapter is more general. (My arcs gonna be super long.)
For example, like in the diegesis 'New Acquaintance,' which has 5 parts, and the diegesis 'Fresh New Day,' which has 3 parts.
The total of both diegesis has 8 parts, right?
So that means both of the diegesis have 8 chapters.
Meaning that the 6th chapter is the 1st part of the diegesis 'Fresh New Day.' Got it?

refers to the fictional world of a story (the 'story world')
