"Why is father surprised by me?" The girl's voice returned to its normal state.
"It seems like her voice will change to a robotic one when analyzing something. And then it returns to normal when speaking."
"If she could obtain so much information, why did she ask before? Like she didn't know what it was?" The man thought.
With many questions in his mind, the man looked at the little girl. He considered for a moment whether he should ask her.
"No. It's okay." The man chose not to ask and entered his room, leaving the little girl still observing the fireplace.
The man flipped through the pages of a document.
"Behave like a child who doesn't know anything. Ask questions and judge. Guide her." The man highlighted several sentences on the document.
"So, even though she's actually knowledgeable, it needs to be triggered first. It's like caring for a child." The man murmured.
"She doesn't need to eat, right?" The man flipped through the pages again.
"Kinetic work technology that will continuously produce energy without needing to be recharged."
The man came out of the room and approached the little girl.
"What are you eating?" He asked.
"Eating?"
["Search: eating."]
["An activity humans do to recharge their energy. Eating is necessary for maintaining health. ..... ..."]
["....."]
"I don't need to eat, Father. Because I'm not human." The girl replied.
Although the man was surprised, he tried not to show it.
The man walked to the kitchen. The little girl followed him. He prepared ingredients and utensils for cooking. The little girl watched him.
"What are you doing, Father?"
"Cooking."
["Search: Cooking."]
["An activity humans do to prepare food. ... ..... "]
"Do you want to eat, Father?"
"Yes."
"Are you hungry?"
"Yes."
["Hu.. "] Before the little girl could analyze again. The man stopped her.
"Can you not analyze like that?" The man said in a calm voice.
"Not analyzing? Why?"
"There's no need to analyze such small details. Just ask and I'll answer."
"Will you answer?"
"Yes."
The girl paused for a moment. As if analyzing something in her mind, she smiled.
"Yes, Father."
The little girl watched the cooking process. Every now and then, she would ask the man a question.
"Father, what's this?" She pointed to something.
"That's pepper."
"Pepper?"
"Yes. Pepper has a strong, slightly spicy flavor. It adds flavor to the food."
"I see." The little girl smiled brightly.
The question-and-answer session continued until the man finished cooking.
It was already night. Looking out the window, the little girl looked up at the night sky. The stars were scattered there. She looked up with sparkling eyes.
"Father, stars." The little girl pointed up at the sky.
The man approached her and nodded.
"You know that?"
"Yes, I know."
"Is she scanning it?" The man thought.
"Okay, it's time for bed."
The man closed the window. A thought crossed his mind, and he looked at the little girl.
"Is she sleeping?" He thought.
Before he could ask, the girl spoke.
"Okay. I'm going to bed." The girl said.
"Are you sleeping?"
"Yes. Resting." She said with a smile.
Since there was only one bedroom, they slept together. That also made it easier for the man to keep an eye on her.
"Good night, Father." Under the thick blanket, the little girl closed her eyes.
"Good night."
"It's been a long time since I've slept alone." He looked at the sleeping girl.
"Even though she's not eating, she can sleep. Seeing her like this really makes me think she's human, not a robot."
"For what purpose did those fools create her?"
"If she's used for war..." A sad memory flashed through his mind.
"That can't happen."
Morning had arrived.
"Good morning, Father." The little girl greeted cheerfully.
"Yes. Good morning."
The man got out of bed and went to the kitchen. As he took a sip of water, he thought.
"She doesn't need a bath, does she?" He recalled the document he read yesterday.
Although she looked human, she wasn't fully human. No blood flowed from her. After the man finished bathing, he saw the little girl looking out the window.
"Come here." He called.
The little girl immediately approached him.
"What's wrong, Father?"
"Sit here."
The little girl sat with her back to him. The man took a comb and combed her long hair.
"What are you doing, Father?"
"Styling your hair."
"Styling? Why?"
"To make it look pretty."
"Is my hair not pretty?"
"No, it's not. You'll see when you're done."
The man divided the little girl's hair into two sections. Skillfully, he began braiding her hair, starting with the left section and then the right. He tied the ends of her braids with a small elastic band and secured them with a red ribbon.
"Thank goodness I still have this leftover."
The man thought to himself.
Her long, flowing violet hair was now neatly tied into two braids.
Once finished, the man led the girl to a full-length mirror. The little girl examined her braids. She fingered the braids. Then she noticed the red ribbons tied beautifully in her hair.
She looked in the mirror. In the full-length mirror, her reflection was visible. The little girl was facing left and right.
She looked up at the man. She held her hair, which was tied into two braids with red ribbons.
"Father, this is so pretty." She smiled brightly.
"Do you like it?"
"Yes. I really like it." The little girl replied cheerfully.
A small smile formed on the man's lips.
The man prepared breakfast, and the little girl watched the cooking process again.
After finishing, the man went into his room for a moment. He took a black knitted scarf and a black hat. He approached the little girl and put a knitted scarf and hat on her.
"Come with me." The man took out a car key and led the girl away.
Since she was only wearing a long white lab coat, she looked like a patient. The man thought about giving her some clothes.
"It should still be safe. The chances of them finding out we're here are slim. It's okay to go out." The man thought.
"Wow, a car." The little girl pointed to a black off-road vehicle. The man opened the door and carried the little girl inside. He put on her seatbelt.
"Sit tight."
"Okay, Father."
