I. Resolution of the Conflict
The typhoon of corrosive magic closed in on Goku. However, before it could strike, the Saiyajin warrior extended his hand, charging only a fraction of his Ki.
—"Ki Blast!"
The Ki was not a destructive attack, but a burst of simple, pure energy that collided with the complex spell. The spell was magic—a law from another world—and Ki was the fundamental law of the universe. The collision wasn't an explosion, but an annulment. The typhoon of scales simply dissolved into clean air.
The Magician, terrified, used a short-range teleportation spell to relocate to a building 100 meters away.
On the rooftop, Misaka Mikoto froze. She had seen Goku nullify her Railgun and now negate a spell she couldn't even classify. The boy was an anomaly that defied physics.
—"Stop! He's not a threat to the city! He's not an Esper or a Magician, he's... he's something else!" Misaka shouted.
Tatsumaki, however, wasn't finished. She seized a fragment of debris from the roof and launched it at Mach 5 toward Misaka. Misaka disintegrated it with an electromagnetic force field.
—"Nonsense! He just needs a good beating to understand!" Tatsumaki snapped.
Goku intervened, teleporting between both girls.
—"No, Tatsumaki! She's good! Feel her Ki! She's just confused, not evil!" Goku said. He then turned to Misaka: "We're travelers, not villains. We're looking for the energy object underground. We just want to leave."
Misaka looked into the pure honesty of Goku's eyes and then at Tatsumaki's contained fury. This was unlike any conflict in Academy City.
II. The Magician's Final Strike
The Magician, seeing the conflict between the "scientists" stall, decided to take extreme measures. He leapt over the research complex.
—"If I can't have the Anchor, I'll destroy the power source so no one can! Odin's Spear!" he roared, charging a spell of mass destruction.
Kaguya, already near the Anchor point, screamed: —"The Anchor is seconds away from being extracted! But if 그 attack hits the reactor, Academy City will dimensionally collapse!"
Erza requipped into her Morning Star Armor, which granted dimensional speed. She lunged toward the Magician.
—"The Law of Fairy Tail is to protect! I won't let you!"
But Misaka was faster. Seeing an existential threat to her city and her people, she used the electromagnetic energy from the ground to propel herself at incredible speeds.
—"You won't destroy MY city!" Misaka cried.
She didn't have a spell or a Ki blast, but she had a force of nature. Misaka created a dense web of electricity around her, aiming to neutralize the magic. She lunged and struck the Magician with a punch charged with 100 million volts.
The Magician, stunned by the speed and intensity of the attack, screamed as the electricity shattered his concentration. The Odin's Spear spell exploded harmlessly in the air.
III. The Railgun's Choice
The Magician was knocked unconscious and the danger passed. Kaguya, seizing the moment, descended to the generator, applied the containment seal, and secured the Sixth Dimensional Anchor. The final Anchor joined the other five inside the crystal sphere.
—"Mission accomplished! All Anchors secured! Time to go!" Kaguya announced, breathing a sigh of relief.
The team gathered. Goku was smiling, Erza nodded, Megumin looked disappointed by the lack of a final explosion, and Tatsumaki looked triumphant after her psychological battle. Kagura was simply excited for the next journey.
Misaka approached Goku, her electric field fading. She wasn't a villain, nor a hero; she was a student defending her world.
—"You guys... what exactly are you? You stopped my Railgun without even trying. That green-haired girl can move things with her mind better than I can. That magic strike... everything defies the logic of this world," Misaka said, her voice filled with a scientific curiosity that outweighed her pride.
Goku laughed and placed a hand on Misaka's shoulder. —"We're travelers. And now that we have all the Anchors, we're going to find the bad guy who put them there!"
Misaka looked around: at the magic warrior, the smiling Saiyajin, the sulking Psychic, the Explosion Loli, and the bloodthirsty Yato. She saw the promise of a world beyond levels and classifications—a world where strength wasn't based on science or magic.
—"I want to go with you," Misaka said, with a firmness that surprised the team. "My world has no more mysteries I can't decipher. But your world... your abilities... I want to understand how they defy physics. What is Ki? And Mana? And I want to know if I can do better."
—"Great! A strong, electric new friend!" Goku laughed.
Erza nodded with a smile. —"Welcome, Railgun. We don't use a level system, but you'll have plenty of training."
Tatsumaki crossed her arms. —"As long as you promise not to make so much noise."
IV. Season Finale
Kaguya activated the dimensional generator. A portal of pure energy opened over Academy City, blanketing the sky in golden and green light.
—"Next stop: the home of the villain who placed the Anchors! Get ready!" Kaguya shouted.
Goku placed two fingers on his forehead. The team—now joined by Misaka Mikoto, who held her Yato umbrella in one hand while emitting a stray spark of lightning with the other—bid farewell to the world of science.
They vanished, leaving Academy City shrouded in mystery.
End of Season 1: The Interdimensional Warrior.
