Chapter 48 - The Infinity vs. The Eternal

The Weight of Two WorldsThe Axiomatic Palace was no longer large enough to contain the atmospheric pressure of the two men standing at opposite ends of the arena.

On one side, Gojo Satoru pulled down his blindfold, revealing eyes that looked like captured nebulae. The Six Eyes began to process the fundamental constants of the universe at a rate that would melt a human brain. He looked effortless, his hands in his pockets, a smirk playing on his lips.

On the other side, Sung Jin-Woo stood shrouded in a cloak of living darkness. The air around him didn't just vibrate; it groaned under the weight of his Monarch's Authority. His eyes glowed with a piercing, ethereal blue light. He didn't look like a student, or even a hunter anymore. He looked like the end of a story.

"I've seen a lot of things since I got drafted into this 'Reset Game,'" Gojo said, his voice light but carrying a sharp edge. "But you... you're the first one who actually feels like a challenge. Tell me, King of Shadows, do you think your ghosts can touch the sky?"

Jin-Woo didn't answer with words. He reached into the void and pulled out the Kamish's Wrath daggers. The black scales of the daggers pulsed with the killing intent of a dragon that had once nearly wiped out humanity.

Internal Monologue (Jin-Woo):

My senses are screaming. This man... he isn't just standing there. He's occupying every point in space simultaneously. My 'Rulers' Authority' can't find a grip on him. It's like trying to grab the horizon. If I want to win, I can't hold back. Not for a second.

The Shadow Tide"Arise."

The word was a tectonic shift.

The obsidian floor of the palace didn't just crack; it dissolved into a sea of shadow. From the darkness, a tidal wave of silver and black armor erupted. Igris led the vanguard, followed by the iron-clad Iron, the sorcerer Tusk, and the terrifyingly fast Beru. Behind them, a literal army of 100,000 shadows rose, their blue eyes flickering like a sea of stars in the dark.

Gojo's smirk widened for a split second before transforming into a look of genuine, manic excitement. "Oh, wow. You really brought the whole neighborhood, didn't you?"

The army surged. Beru was the first, moving at speeds that blurred the very concept of time, his claws aimed directly at Gojo's throat.

Clang.

Beru's claws stopped an inch from Gojo's skin. The ant-king shrieked in frustration, his limbs vibrating as he tried to push through the invisible barrier.

"Sorry, bug-guy," Gojo whispered. "This is Infinity. The closer you get, the slower you go. You'll reach me in about... never."

The Domain of the Honored OneGojo crossed his fingers in a specific, ritualistic sign.

"Enough with the warm-up. Let's see how your ghosts handle a bit of mental processing."

"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void."

The palace vanished. The shadows vanished. The universe itself seemed to fold inward. Jin-Woo found himself standing in the center of a literal infinity. Information—the birth of stars, the math of atoms, every thought ever conceived—began to flood into his mind. It was a sensory overload designed to paralyze any living being instantly.

Gojo drifted through the void, looking down at Jin-Woo. "In here, you see everything, you feel everything, and yet you can do nothing. You're stuck in the 'Infinity.' Even a King has to bow to the math of the universe."

Gojo raised a finger, a spark of crimson energy forming. "Let's end this. Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue. Cursed Technique Reversal: Red."

He merged the two infinites.

"Hollow Purple."

A sphere of absolute erasure,in one singulairty imaginary mass, roared toward Jin-Woo, who stood frozen in the center of the Void.

The Monarch's Aura Farm he expected from gojo was the end. He expected the deletion. But as the Purple neared, Jin-Woo's eyes didn't show the glassy stare of a paralyzed victim. They glowed brighter.

Internal Monologue (Jin-Woo):

Information overload? I've spent years in the 'System.' I've faced the memories of the Absolute Being. I've lived through eons of war in the gap between dimensions. You think your 'Infinity' is big? My shadows are the very definition of 'Eternal.'

Jin-Woo didn't move his body; he moved his Aura.

The "Void" began to tremble. A pressure so immense it started to crack Gojo's mental construct erupted from Jin-Woo. This was the Monarch's Domain. The shadows weren't just summons; they were an extension of his soul. And his soul was the Darkness of the Beginning.

Jin-Woo looked up at Gojo, a cold, mocking smirk mirroring Gojo's own. He didn't just survive the Unlimited Void; he farmed the aura of the domain, absorbing the pressure and turning it into a catalyst for his own killer move.

"Is that all?" Jin-Woo's voice echoed, cold and resonant, vibrating through the "Void." "You speak of the sky. But I am the earth that swallows it."

The Killer Move: Dragon's Breath of the AbyssJin-Woo lunged. He didn't use a dagger. He used Ruler's Authority to pull the very fabric of Gojo's Domain toward him.

"Mutilate."

The daggers in his hands didn't just slash; they tore through the concept of space. The Hollow Purple was sliced clean in half, the two halves of the impact exploding harmlessly against the edges of the domain.

Gojo's eyes widened. Internal Monologue (Gojo):He cut through an imaginary mass? That's impossible! My Infinity... he's not trying to cross the distance. He's trying to crush the space itself!

Jin-Woo appeared in front of Gojo.He unleashed his ultimate offensive skill.

"Bloodlust."

The sheer intent to kill was so heavy it physically slowed Gojo's perception. Jin-Woo's daggers became a whirlwind of black and blue energy, striking at the Infinity barrier thousands of times a second. Each strike didn't just hit; it left a "shadow" on the barrier, a corruption that began to eat away at the cursed energy maintaining it.

"Dragon's Breath!"

From Jin-Woo's shadow, the ghost of the Dragon King Kamish manifested for a fraction of a second, breathing a jet of spectral fire that wasn't made of heat, but of Destruction.

The Unlimited Void shattered like glass. The two warriors plummeted back onto the obsidian floor of the palace, the arena now a cratered wasteland.

The Glitch in the SystemGojo landed, his shirt torn, his Infinity flickering for the first time. He was laughing—a wild, ecstatic sound. "Amazing! You actually broke it! You're a monster, Jin-Woo! Let's go! Let's see who burns out first!"

Gojo prepared to launch a Maximum Output: Blue, while Jin-Woo called forth Bellion and the Grand-Marshal Grade Shadows to form a spear of pure darkness.

The two charged. The collision of Gojo's infinite repulsion and Jin-Woo's infinite darkness created a conceptual paradox.

The Axiomatic Palace began to scream. Red "Error" signs began to flash in the air. The "Magnetic Confusion" Malak had mentioned earlier wasn't a lie—the power these two were putting out was literally melting the hardware of the Reset Game.

"Stop!" Malak's voice boomed, but it sounded distorted, glitching like a broken record. "The data... it's too much! You are destroying the infrastructure!"

The Result: A Forced ConclusionBefore the two could impact, the floor between them opened into a void. Malak, appearing desperate and half-shattered, channeled the palace's remaining energy to force a separation.

"Enough!" Malak roared, his porcelain face now missing an entire jaw, revealing the black rot beneath. "The system cannot determine a loser! Your power levels have reached a parity that threatens the restart itself!"

Malak looked at the two titans. / yes... indeed they sure are monsters, well they are famous in thier worlds. Tsk.. this is infuriating, if this keeps up I won't have time to think it through. / With one more glance at them. " Hey creep, your getting in the way of a fight with someone I consider a dazzling opponent " gojo says with a grin before Chang he's expression to a cold gaze when he looks at Malak " so get out of the way "

" for the first time. I actually agree with this guy. We played by your rules so what's the problem" then there was abrupt silence

...

"Gojo Satoru. Sung Jin-Woo. You both represent the apex of your respective constants. The system has no choice but to recognize you both as Winners. You both secure a seat."

" huh.. what a load of crap, Tsk". Gojo and Jin-Woo snapped back. But Malak couldn't care less.

Malak turned his head, his eyes flickering. "But this means... the remaining seats are gone. The final loser is already determined."

He looked at the group. Okarun was already gone. Dazai was gone. Tanjiro was standing with his broken blade. Saitama was yawning.

And then there was Kazuma.

The Scavenger's EndKazuma Satou stood in the corner, holding his little bag of silver, his face pale. According to the rules, he was supposed to fight the winner of the losers' bracket—but since there were no more seats and the "Main Event" resulted in a double-win, the "Losers" were no longer relevant to the data.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Kazuma yelled, waving his arms. "I didn't even get to fight! You said I was the scavenger! You said if I survive, I take a seat!"

"The system has been restructured," Malak said, his voice cold and glitchy. "The data from the Gojo/Jin-Woo conflict is so vast it has filled the remaining storage for the 'Restoration.' There is no room left for a... scavenger."

"That's not fair!" Kazuma screamed. "I did the Viking raid! I killed the monks! I survived the teachers! You can't just delete me because these two are overachievers!"

Malak raised his hand. "Variable Kazuma Satou: Obsolete. Initiating Square One Protocol."

"Aqua! Darkness! Megumin! Someone help—!"

Kazuma's body dissolved into blue static. In a distant, colorful fantasy world, a boy in a tracksuit woke up in a stable next to a horse. He looked around, felt a strange urge to find a blue-haired girl and yell at her, but then shrugged and went back to sleep, his memory of the great war erased.

Winners: Gojo Satoru and Sung Jin-Woo.

The group was now four: Tanjiro, Saitama, Gojo, and Jin-Woo.

The winners stood in the center of the collapsing palace. Malak looked at them, his form flickering.

"Well done, Architects. You have your four. Now... the ferry is ready. But don't think this is the end. When you return to your worlds, you will carry the weight of what you did. You are my greatest data points. And someday... I will come for the rest."
