'I heard it's currently 800 credits per pill at the moment. Ask him how much he'll pay for a 1,000 pills batch.' Mater communicated with Crow.
Crow raised a finger, "1,000 pills. Your price is?"
Tommy rubbed his chin. "Currently the price on the street is 800 credits a pop. Of course, that is not the wholesale price. We need to make a profit, aren't we? I'll take 1,000 pills for 500 credits each."
Mater stroked his whiskers in deep thought. 500 credits for 1,000 pills was 500,000 credits. It was big money. But Tommy wasn't really honest either.
They were a crime family, selling the pill would make a profit. But Mater suspected that they would like to keep the pills for themselves and only sell those that they didn't need. The pills, in a way, were a form of power for the Mafia. They could make their lowest level grunt to become average, capable of fighting with low level Psychic.
