A small yawn escaped her lips—but somehow, impossibly, it only made her look even more adorable.It was almost unfair. As if the concept of "looking bad" simply didn't apply to her.
She rubbed her eyes lazily, then dropped her hands, revealing deep forest-green irises—eyes so enchanting that one might willingly get lost in them forever.
Her priority was clear.Before even acknowledging her mother, she turned to the sprite wolf beside her and smiled softly.She stroked his head.
In response, the wolf pressed his snout against her cheek with affection.
If anyone else were to witness this scene, they would die twice—just for the chance to reincarnate as her sprite.
After a few seconds, she stretched her slender body and stood up gracefully.
With a flick of her hand, the wolf dissolved into a swirl of colorful particles and entered her body—returning to the spiritual realm inside her.
Only then did she look at the queen.
Expressionless… then softening.
A smile bloomed.
She opened her mouth, her voice sweeter than royal honey.
"Mother…"
The queen stared at her daughter, momentarily stunned.
Elyndria walked over, graceful as flowing light.Aerilune motioned for her to sit, and Elyndria obeyed.
"Ray," the queen said lightly, "make tea for us."
Poor Ray was about to nod and retreat silently when—
"I'll take a soft drink," Elyndria said, raising her hand casually.
Both the queen and Ray sighed.
Who in the world drinks a soft drink during tea time…?
Still, Ray nodded helplessly and went to prepare both.
Meanwhile, the queen exhaled deeply and looked at her daughter with mild frustration.
"A divine-rank awakener has appeared in the Human Domain."
Elyndria blinked.Then made a face.
"Mother… even though I barely go outside, I at least know THAT much."
Aerilune's mouth twitched several times before she finally snapped.
"You stupid girl! If you know, then why are you wasting time sleeping instead of training!?"
Elyndria's long lashes lowered; her forest-green eyes became glossy at the corners.
"I do train every day… It's just that you're too busy to see me," she said, cheeks puffed adorably.
The queen pinched the bridge of her nose.
Yes… you train wonderfully while sleeping. Absolutely flawless.
"Anyway," Aerilune sighed, "only one month remains before the Academy entrance exams. I want you to train seriously. Your talent is unbelievably powerful—never before recorded—but now you know it's not the strongest. You must give your all."
The princess opened her mouth to argue, but Ray returned, placing a perfect cup of tea before the queen… and a cold soft drink before Elyndria.
Elyndria grabbed the drink instantly and gulped it in one go.
Then, setting the empty cup down, she said with sudden confidence:
"Mother, I understand your worry. But trust me—I will do my best."
The queen would have believed her… if she hadn't delivered that heroic declaration while drinking a full glass of soft drink like a child.
Aerilune stared at her daughter silently.
Even then… she knew.
