Chapter 69 - For Revenge, Aidi Ultraman Bravely Storms the Southern Heavenly Gate!

In the depths of distant time and space, a strange light suddenly flared into existence. At first, it was no more than a tiny point of brilliance, yet in the blink of an eye it erupted with incomparable radiance, like the primordial chaos-light at the birth of the universe. Within that glow, the figures of Aidi Ultraman, his wife Yulian Ultraman, and their son Boyi Ultraman gradually became clear.

Aidi Ultraman's towering body radiated an unyielding light. Beneath its illumination, the lines of his powerful muscles were strikingly distinct, each one seeming to contain boundless strength. Flames of rage burned fiercely in his eyes—so intense they seemed capable of incinerating everything before him. His clenched fists trembled slightly, the knuckles whitening from the force."The blood of our brothers must not be shed in vain. This vengeance will be repaid!" he ground out through clenched teeth. Every word sounded as though it were squeezed from between his teeth, carrying profound hatred and unshakable resolve.

Yulian Ultraman's beautiful face was now woven with sorrow and fury. Her bright eyes brimmed with tears, yet she stubbornly refused to let them fall. Leaning tightly against Aidi Ultraman, her hands clenched unconsciously, her fingers drained of color from the pressure."We must make the Heavenly Court pay the price!" she said, her voice trembling—not from fear, but from the surging emotions in her heart. Even so, that trembling carried an unwavering firmness, like an oath that would never change.

Though still young, Boyi Ultraman's eyes likewise shone with defiance. His childish face was now filled with seriousness and resolve. His small fists were clenched tightly, as if gathering all his courage into those tiny hands."I want to avenge the uncles too!" His young voice rang with courage—still crisp with a child's tone, yet firm beyond his years.

The family of three stood upon a strange land scarred by the traces of war. Fierce winds howled past them, snapping their clothes and producing sharp, resounding flaps. The wind roared like a wild beast at their sides, yet could not shake them in the slightest.

Aidi Ultraman lifted his gaze to the heavens, his deep eyes seeming to pierce through layers of clouds and see the brutal scenes of past battles. His expression grew distant and heavy."Seven brothers… rest in peace. We will seek justice for you."His voice echoed across the empty land, filled with endless grief and determination, every word striking the earth like a heavy hammer.

Yulian Ultraman gently stroked Boyi Ultraman's head. Her movements were soft, filled with love and tenderness, her eyes brimming with pain and encouragement."Child, don't be afraid. We'll face it together."Her voice was gentle yet resolute, like a spring breeze sweeping across frozen ground, bringing warmth and hope.

Boyi Ultraman nodded vigorously, his small body straightening."Mom, I'm not afraid!"His eyes shone with trust in his mother and anticipation for the coming battle.

At that moment, dark clouds churned overhead. Thick as ink, they gathered rapidly, piling layer upon layer like a massive black mountain pressing down from above. The wind grew even fiercer, shrieking through the clouds with piercing howls. Lightning darted within the clouds like silver serpents, briefly illuminating the dark sky. Thunder rolled like the roar of enraged gods, deafening to the ears. Raindrops the size of beans poured down in torrents, smashing into the ground and splashing everywhere.

Aidi Ultraman took a deep breath, his broad chest heaving."Let's go, my family. It's time to meet this Heavenly Court."His voice was steady and powerful, like a pillar anchoring a raging storm, instilling firm belief.

Step by resolute step, the family moved toward the Heavenly Court. Each footfall carried heavy determination, as though the very earth sensed their fury and trembled faintly beneath them. Their figures looked lonely yet steadfast amid the wind and rain, radiating an indescribably powerful presence.

Along the way, they encountered a wounded spirit. The spirit lay weakly on the ground, its once-lively wings drooping helplessly at its sides. Its clothes were tattered, blood streaming from its wounds. Upon seeing them, a flicker of hope appeared in its dim eyes, like a drowning man clutching at a lifeline.

Aidi Ultraman hurried over and crouched down, his movements swift yet gentle, afraid of causing more pain."How are you?" he asked with deep concern.

The spirit spoke with great difficulty, every word seeming to drain its remaining strength."The Heavenly Court… they're too powerful…"Its voice was weak and despairing, its eyes filled with fear and helplessness.

Yulian Ultraman quickly took out a bottle of healing potion, which glimmered with mysterious light inside the vial. She carefully handed it to the spirit, her movements as gentle as if she were protecting a priceless treasure.

The spirit gratefully accepted it, trembling hands lifting the bottle to its lips and drinking it down in one gulp. The potion's miraculous power quickly took effect. Color returned to its face, and its spirit recovered somewhat."Thank you… but be careful. The Heavenly Court isn't easy to deal with."Though still weak, its voice now carried concern and warning.

Aidi Ultraman's gaze was firm, as immovable as bedrock."We're not afraid. Even if we're shattered to dust, we'll fight for justice."His voice cut clearly through the wind and rain, brimming with fearless courage.

After bidding farewell to the spirit, they continued onward.

Boyi Ultraman looked around curiously, childish wonder mingled with fear of the unknown."Dad, Mom… can we really succeed?"His voice carried uncertainty as his small hand unconsciously clutched their clothes.

Aidi Ultraman patted his head, his large palm warm and reassuring."As long as our family stands together, there's nothing we can't do."His voice was confident and firm, as if infusing Boyi Ultraman with boundless courage.

Their figures gradually faded into the storm, walking resolutely toward an unknown fate…

Far away at the horizon, a vast sea of clouds surged like an endless ocean, rolling layer upon layer. Amid the boundless mist, a mysterious and solemn aura spread like a thin veil. This enigmatic realm seemed like the end of the universe—or perhaps the beginning of another world.

After braving countless dangers and hardships, they finally arrived at the Southern Heavenly Gate of the Heavenly Court. Along the way, they had endured exposure to wind and rain, clashed with innumerable demons and monsters, and faced hardship at every step.

Aidi Ultraman stepped upon the void, standing tall and steady like a pine tree, immovable as a mountain. His towering figure was striking amid the vast heavens, like an indomitable war god. His eyes burned with unwavering resolve, flames that would never be extinguished, capable of burning away all darkness and evil. He gazed up at the towering, majestic Heavenly Gate, rage in his heart surging like a volcano on the verge of eruption. The gate looked like a mysterious entrance to another dimension—solemn and inviolable.

He inhaled deeply, his chest heaving violently, fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned pale. Veins bulged on his arms like writhing dragons beneath the skin, revealing his extreme fury.

He roared with all his might:"People of the Heavenly Court—come out and face death!"

The sound was like rolling thunder, tearing through layers of clouds and echoing across heaven and earth, even making the surrounding stars seem to tremble. Wherever the sound waves passed, the clouds were swept away, revealing clear skies.

Inside the Southern Heavenly Gate, the guarding general Guan Yu sat upon a grand chair. Clad in green robes, he exuded imposing authority. One hand gently stroked his long, beautiful beard, his eyes half-closed, appearing calm yet inwardly contemplating the safety and duty of the Heavenly Court. Its honor and dignity weighed upon his heart like a mountain.

That furious shout struck like a bolt of thunder at his ears. Guan Yu's eyes snapped open, a sharp light flashing like lightning across the night sky. The surrounding guards shuddered in shock, some nearly dropping their weapons, faces pale with fear.

Guan Yu merely frowned slightly, displeasure flashing across his face."An ill omen," he thought.Yet his expression soon returned to calm—years of battle had forged an unshakable composure.

He rose slowly, every movement unhurried yet carrying indescribable authority. Lifting the Qinglong Yanyue Dao, the heavy blade seemed to come alive in his grasp. Its patterns gleamed under the light, as if recounting countless glorious battles.

Step by steady step, he walked outward, each footfall heavy with momentum, as though the earth itself trembled beneath him. His armor gleamed coldly, every plate meticulously forged, bearing witness to his immense military merit.

Stopping before the gate, Guan Yu fixed his blazing gaze on Aidi Ultraman and shouted:"What demon dares cause trouble here?!"

Aidi Ultraman glared back, fury blazing."Hmph! Your Heavenly Court bullies others with power. Today, I will demand justice!"

Guan Yu sneered."Justice? In heaven and earth, the rules of the Heavenly Court are justice! You ignorant fool—watch your tongue!"

Aidi Ultraman's teeth ground audibly."You're the ones twisting right and wrong! Wherever I go, there is justice!"

Guan Yu's eyes flickered with disdain."Justice? Your so-called justice is nothing but personal desire!"

With that, Guan Yu raised the Qinglong Yanyue Dao high. Cold light flashed as a terrifying aura erupted, sweeping away the clouds into a massive vortex.

Aidi Ultraman answered in kind, brilliant light surging from his body, assuming a battle stance, muscles tensed like a ferocious beast ready to strike.

The air at the Southern Heavenly Gate grew unbearably tense—time itself seemed frozen.

At that critical moment, Yulian Ultraman and Boyi Ultraman also entered the battlefield.

Yulian moved lightly, like a celestial maiden descending to the mortal world. Her eyes shone like stars."Don't you dare harm my family!" she shouted, fearless.

Boyi Ultraman clenched his tiny fists."I'm not afraid of you either!" he cried stubbornly.

Guan Yu's brows knitted."This family… united. Not to be underestimated."Yet his grip on the blade tightened.

Aidi Ultraman struck first, flashing forward like lightning. Guan Yu dodged and countered, blade roaring through the air. Yulian fired a beam of light, forcing Guan Yu to leap aside. Boyi, face flushed, released a small energy wave—weak, yet filled with unwavering will.

Light and energy clashed, clouds churning violently.

Then—

In a single fatal instant, Guan Yu sensed movement behind him.

He turned like lightning.

The blade fell.

"No—!" Yulian screamed.

"Guan Yu! You dare strike a child?!" Aidi roared.

Too late.

Boyi Ultraman's small body was struck down, falling like a shooting star.

"Child!" Yulian's scream tore the heavens.

"On the battlefield," Guan Yu said coldly, "there is no age—only enemies."

Aidi Ultraman's light exploded with madness and grief.

The battle escalated into pure slaughter.

At last—

A moment of error.

A flash of cold steel.

"It's over," Guan Yu declared.

Aidi Ultraman fell.

"Hatred blinds the eyes," Guan Yu said indifferently.

Yulian's world collapsed.

Husband. Son. Both dead by Guan Yu's hand.

Her grief turned into madness.

"Guan Yu—I will have your blood for this!"

With broken sanity and burning hatred, Yulian Ultraman charged alone into battle at the Southern Heavenly Gate…
