Chapter eighty-two: Make Him Pay

I had been tied up with work the entire day. After Elena had left my house for work, I got ready as well but the problem was that I missed her. It was like I needed her with me every waking second. Whenever she wasn't with me, I felt this unexplained void deep in my chest and because of that I threw myself into work to make the hours tick by quickly.
Her shift was meant to end three hours ago but she hadn't come yet. It was times like this that I wished I had bought a phone for her. I hated not being able to be in constant communication with her. I didn't want to be the overly clingy and in your face type of boyfriend but I couldn't help it when it comes to her. She had some rogues after her and at any moment she could be captured.
