Fighting against the human army got me thinking about a bunch of things.
'Don't we have like, zero mobility?'
Whether it was conquering Gremory's dungeon or facing the subjugation force twice, I had to fight head-on battles where strength clashed against strength.
'Can't keep digging tunnels and causing chaos forever.'
When conquering Gremory's dungeon, the Slime Dragon and I acted as the hammer and anvil, playing the role of cavalry. But that was for dungeon raids—against the subjugation force, it was basically field battles or sieges.
'If we're marching, there's just too much to worry about.'
Unlike human armies composed entirely of humans, the Demon King's army was different. Sure, orcs could just charge ahead, but once you mixed in Andras, harpies, and ghouls, you had to adjust the march speed to match the slowest species.
