Random Transmigration +1
Description: Can transmigrate to other worlds at any time, please use with caution.
Seeing the notification for Random Transmigration, Lucien's grin widened, his amethyst eyes gleaming with excitement.
This ability was exactly what he needed.
With random transmigration, he could chase down Subaru Natsuki without fear, and if the Jealous Witch appeared, he could escape instantly. From a certain point of view, this was as much an escape skill as a combat one, and in a world filled with chaotic magic — time, space, soul, curses and more — that kind of freedom was precious.
Lucien feared only one thing: attacks that targeted the soul itself. That was his weakness.
He was very satisfied with the rewards he had drawn from the two ordinary Luck rolls. He had cast the Dice eleven times in total, and with two already used, nine remained. What frustrated him most was that he was only one throw away from combining the ten results needed to generate an upgraded Luck roll.
Lucien closed the light screen and glanced at Elsa and Meli beside him. These two should logically count as secondary villains, having played notable roles in the first season of this world's story.
"Meli," he said without hesitation, leaning down and biting directly into her neck.
A moment later, only her clothes lay on the ground, with nothing else remaining.
The light screen showed no new data.
Lucien then turned toward Elsa, who seemed to accept her fate without question.
From the moment Lucien turned her into a spirit, Elsa had fallen deeply in love with him, her feelings bordering on yandere obsession.
"Elsa, I truly care for you," Lucien murmured, his voice low.
He buried his mouth in her neck, and her eyes glazed over in ecstasy.
Her hands clutched him tightly, her lips parted in a seductive whisper.
But within breaths, she crumbled into ash.
Successfully hunted the secondary villain 'Bowel Hunter' Elsa from the world of Re:Zero — Starting Life in Another World.
Dice chances will be rewarded based on the situation.
Congratulations, you have gained one chance.
Lucien focused his mind on the synthesis prompt.
As the brilliant light faded, the ten ordinary Dice chances dissolved, replaced by one Dice chance with Ordinary Luck Value +1.
The Dice spun and leapt, the model airplane token advancing six spaces.
When the light disappeared, the reward appeared.
Dance Version: Gokuraku Jodo
Description: While the dance music plays for three minutes and forty-five seconds, all beings — demons, ghosts, gods, devils, or Buddhas — within a ten-kilometer radius centered on the host will be compelled to learn and perform the butterfly step and oiran step of Gokuraku Jodo, no matter how powerful they are.
Note: Cooldown time is ten days.
Lucien's eyes glowed slightly red as he read the description.
This item was far from trash.
On the contrary, it was incredibly powerful — at least something usually only obtainable through a VIP or high-Luck draw.
The fact that it affected every being within ten kilometers meant that at a critical moment, it could save his life.
The only downside was that he would also have to dance, but embarrassment was nothing compared to survival.
War music rose in his mind as he considered the potential of Dance Version: Gokuraku Jodo.
If he could get other beneficial songs or dances in future rewards, they might even weaken enemies.
With Random Transmigration and Gokuraku Jodo as his trump cards, Lucien felt far more secure.
He lit a cigar, inhaling deeply before exhaling a perfect smoke ring.
His gaze drifted to Subaru on the street, but Lucien had no intention of acting immediately.
Instead, he chose to target others who had appeared in the first season of the anime — the remaining royal candidates, other Archbishops of the Witch Cult, and more.
These figures might become important supporting characters later, or by gathering enough screen time, could be elevated in value.
Perhaps if he was lucky, he could even eliminate the Jealous Witch herself someday.
As for Subaru Natsuki, for now it was better to take things slowly.
In the Barielle noble estate of the capital city, a luxurious carriage rolled through wide streets.
Lucien observed from a distance.
Like Roswaal's mansion, the Barielle estate was enormous and opulent.
A splendid young woman sat inside the carriage, dressed in a luxurious red gown.
Her long, vibrant orange hair was pinned back, and her figure was striking.
She was Priscilla Barielle, one of the five royal selection candidates, infamous for her beauty and arrogance — earning the nickname "Bloody Bride" due to the repeated deaths of her numerous husbands.
Lucien mused that she might be worth a test.
But this was the capital, full of hidden power players, so discretion was wiser.
With a wave of energy, Lucien disguised himself as a five-or six-year-old girl.
Children were harmless, and few adults would suspect one as a threat.
The carriage passed three streets before coming to a sudden stop at an empty corner.
"What is it?" Priscilla asked impatiently.
She pulled out a fan and peered out, crimson eyes gleaming with regal disdain.
Priscilla scowled, her gaze flicking dismissively toward Lucien's disguised form.
"Drive her off," she ordered coldly.
Before Priscilla's command could be acted on, Lucien spoke up clearly, his voice timid but firm.
"Please, buy a flower!"
Aldebaran hesitated, compassionate by nature, inclined to purchase the flowers.
Priscilla stepped out of the carriage, glaring down at the child before her.
Arrogance and entitlement radiated from her, even as she crouched to meet the 'child' at eye level.
"Give me all these flowers," she commanded, slipping her fan back into her dress.
At that instant, two hardened black thorns shot out like striking lightning, piercing both Priscilla and Aldebaran.
Blood splattered as both were seized instantly, their bodies convulsing violently.
No one expected a little girl to snap into such a brutal attack — and with such unthinkable speed.
Priscilla and Aldebaran were obviously more than mere nobles; they adapted quickly to the threat, their expressions sharpening into unnatural focus.
Their eyes glinted with violet diamond light, and Priscilla's dress shimmered with spread blood-red rose patterns while Aldebaran's clothing cracked with veins of dark stains.
"What have you done to us?" they both gasped, their lifeforce trapped in someone else's control, unable to resist.
