I walked into the mansion with the slam of the front door echoing through the entire hall.
I stopped for a second, confused. Noise hit me first—laughter, something like cheering. The kind that fills the entire living room, then Caleb's voice came;
"Leo, that doesn't count! You skipped two blocks!"
Leo was laughing. A whole damn family game night happening while Fiona was— I pushed the thought away before I exploded.
I stormed toward the living room.They were all there — sitting on the carpet like some picture-perfect family moment. Board games spread out, snacks was everywhere and Leo was in the middle laughing with his uncle.
Natasha right beside him, smiling, acting like she was Mother of the Year.
She looked up and the smiled. "Nathan…? You're home early."
"Where is she?" I asked, voice flat.
Dad lowered his glasses. Mum sat up straighter.. "Where is who, sweetheart?" Mom asked.
"Fiona."
