Chapter 264 - Chapter 264

Hearing that Minamiya Natsuki wanted to discuss something with him, Izumi felt completely confused.

There was actually something they needed to consult him about?

And more importantly… was this some kind of trap?

Natsuki did not waste time and went straight to the point.

"Those weapons you project. Can you mass-produce them?"

"I mean in extremely large quantities."

The moment she spoke, Izumi understood her intentions.

Looking at her, he said with a troubled expression,

"So you want me to supply weapons to other people?"

Natsuki nodded.

"That's right."

However, Izumi rejected the idea in his heart immediately.

To be honest, he wasn't even familiar with those people.

Why should he provide them with weapons?

So without hesitation, he refused.

"I decline."

"My own people don't even have a full set of equipment yet."

"So I'm not responsible for anyone else."

The answer was decisive.

Natsuki and Hiratsuka Shizuka both sighed helplessly.

Shizuka spoke up.

"Can't you think about the others for once?"

"You're the only person I know who can quickly produce large numbers of powerful weapons."

Izumi curled his lips and replied bluntly,

"You don't need to worry about that."

"Other factions will definitely supply their own weapons."

"You just came to me because mine are better."

"But my weapons aren't suitable for most people."

"Even if I give them out, they won't be able to use their full power."

"So they should just use standard-issue equipment."

"And besides, I don't even know them. I have no obligation to babysit anyone."

His words were direct and unfiltered.

He simply didn't want to do it.

The two teachers understood this very well.

But they still wanted to try.

After all, they had no idea how many students would die in this war.

These were their students.

As teachers, if there was even a chance to help them survive, they would grasp it.

Natsuki clenched her teeth and spoke again.

"Then tell me."

"What will it take for you to provide weapons?"

She had made up her mind.

If this could help even a few more students survive, she was willing to do anything.

Izumi felt speechless.

"Is it really necessary to go that far?"

That was the part he couldn't understand.

Both women nodded without hesitation.

"Yes. It's our duty."

Shizuka's answer was firm.

Izumi fell silent.

He couldn't relate to that mindset.

In his eyes, those people had nothing to do with him.

After thinking for a while, he finally spoke.

"There's no way I'm supplying weapons for the entire school."

"I don't have that obligation."

"But if it's just one class… that's possible."

He could easily mass-produce high-grade dungeon weapons.

But Noble Phantasms were out of the question.

There was no point. Most people couldn't even use them properly.

The two women were overjoyed.

Even if it wasn't for the entire school, this was more than enough.

Stronger weapons meant higher survival chances.

After getting his answer, they quickly left to make further arrangements.

Watching their backs, Izumi sighed.

They were truly good teachers.

Unfortunately, they were born into the wrong world.

In a peaceful world, they wouldn't have to worry so much.

Shaking his head, he stopped thinking about it.

He had already done what he could.

The rest had nothing to do with him.

With a casual gesture, he created a large number of weapons and stored them in a spatial item.

As for how many would return alive…

Only fate knew.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

The day before, everyone had received notice to return to school.

So early in the morning, they headed out together.

When they arrived, the school grounds were already packed.

Natsuki waved when she saw them.

"Over here!"

Izumi looked over.

Beside her stood the students of the elite class.

But their numbers had decreased.

Clearly, some had already died during dungeon training.

After approaching, Izumi handed her the spatial storage.

"The weapons you wanted are inside."

"Distribute them as you see fit."

Natsuki checked the contents and nodded seriously.

"Thank you."

The quality was indeed excellent.

She didn't distribute them immediately and simply waited.

At the scheduled time, a massive magic circle appeared above the field.

Then, the Demon King Sirzechs Lucifer descended.

As the school's sponsor, his appearance caused a great commotion.

What followed was a long speech.

Izumi almost fell asleep.

It was the usual talk about protecting the world, defending families, and fighting for the future.

Many students became fired up.

Izumi could only sigh.

Afterward, the assembly ended, and students were given time to say goodbye to their families.

Many parents had come as well.

Just as Sirzechs left, his voice echoed in Izumi's mind.

"Izumi-kun, would you come to the old school building for a chat?"

Izumi smiled.

He didn't refuse.

After informing Natsuki, he headed there.

When he arrived, he discovered that Sirzechs wasn't alone.

The leaders of the three factions were all present.

Gabriel,

Michael,

and Azazel.

Seeing him, they greeted him warmly.

"Yo, Izumi-kun. Long time no see!"
