Chapter 29 - Chapter 28: Two Days Later, Free Transformation Achieved

In the blink of an eye, two days passed in cultivation and enlightenment.

From two days ago until now—stabilizing the Super Saiyan form, exiting it, then attempting to transform again—Vegeta's improvement had been godlike.

His mastery of the form rose rapidly.

Though the time was short, Vegeta's progress was terrifying. His control of Super Saiyan had already reached a point where he could freely transform at will.

His very first attempt to transform again had been difficult. But after discovering the method and grasping the key sensation, Vegeta mastered it almost instantly.

What he feared most was losing the form involuntarily and having his power spiral out of control. But now that this danger was gone, Vegeta had no reason to hesitate anymore.

Standing atop the tallest point of the island, Vegeta rested briefly—then transformed again.

This time, with complete proficiency, the transformation caused no violent weather changes and none of the natural disasters from his first awakening.

Looking at his reflection in the water below, Vegeta saw golden hair, golden aura, emerald eyes—

One word:

Handsome.

Two words:

Strong enough.

However, after adapting to the transformed state's overwhelming power, he couldn't help noticing a strange emptiness when he returned to normal.

Perhaps all Saiyans who achieved the Super Saiyan form experienced this—an unconscious belief that the transformed power was their true power.

And honestly, that wasn't wrong. This form was the ultimate manifestation of Saiyan bloodline.

But Vegeta was a transmigrator, with clearer understanding.

Transformation was crucial, yes—but the normal state was the foundation. True mastery required strengthening both.

This emptiness would fade as his normal power grew and his mastery increased.

"Phew~~! It's about time to see the Grand Elder again. And… a chance to see Bulma and the others."

After stabilizing his aura, Vegeta exited his Super Saiyan state and muttered to himself.

Over the past two days, he had sensed ki fluctuations and already knew that Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan had reached the Grand Elder's residence.

They must've had their potential unlocked—there was no way their power had increased tenfold on their own.

Before his big showdown with Frieza, Vegeta needed to make sure everything was under control. Meeting them again was necessary.

Otherwise, if they secretly gathered the Dragon Balls and summoned Shenron during his fight with Frieza, it would be annoying to deal with.

Of course, with his current power, Frieza couldn't touch him. Handling side problems would be easy.

But Vegeta wanted to enjoy the upcoming battle without distractions. He would not allow anything unexpected.

"Hmm? These two ki signatures…?"

Just as he prepared to leave, Vegeta sensed two strong but unfamiliar ki sources flying toward the Grand Elder's location from far away.

Memory flashed.

They belonged to two officers of Frieza's personal guard. One's battle power was close to Nappa's. The other's was around ten thousand.

"If I remember correctly… Salada and Dodgett. Zarbon's direct subordinates."

A playful grin appeared on Vegeta's face.

Rising into the air, he flew toward the Grand Elder's place at high speed.

Salada and Dodgett might be trouble for ordinary Namekians, but they were nothing to Nail.

But what Vegeta was really curious about—

Would Gohan and Krillin take action first?

They were at the Grand Elder's stronghold now. They shouldn't just stand there.

And with their potential unlocked, they were no longer weaklings.

Ten minutes later — Grand Elder's Residence

A group of Namekians glared angrily at the two outsiders floating in the sky.

"Hahahahaha! Lord Salada, we've finally made a huge contribution! We spent almost three days searching all over Namek and finally found another Namekian village!"

Dodgett—the red-skinned dinosaur-like warrior—laughed loudly.

Beside him was Salada, a deep blue lizard-man covered in yellow spots.

After Zarbon and Dodoria vanished, Salada and Dodgett had become the strongest remaining soldiers in Frieza's forces on Namek.

They were desperate to earn merit and rise in rank.

Finding a Namekian village meant one thing:

high chance of Dragon Balls being here.

Bring them back, and Frieza might promote them to elite status.

"Hehehehe~~!! Listen up, Namekians! Hand over the Dragon Balls, and I'll spare your lives. Otherwise…"

Salada raised his hand and formed an energy ball.

Threatening. Coercive.

Give it or die.

The Namekians grew even more enraged. The young warriors couldn't hold back anymore—they flew into the sky, ready to fight.

"It seems they're unwilling. Why waste time talking? Let's kill them all and search afterward!" Dodgett shouted.

Like Dodoria, he had no brains—only brute force and stupidity.

And while the method was simple and effective, his power definitely wasn't enough.

"Huh~~? A spaceship? And those three… Earthlings?!" Salada noticed the ship and saw Krillin, Gohan, and Bulma.

A sinister smile appeared.

"I see… You gathered here to hide from us and plan to escape Namek using that ship! Hmph! Since I've found you, don't even think about leaving!"

He flicked his arm, sending the energy blast straight toward the spaceship.

Another "contribution" to impress Frieza.

The Namekians panicked.

Krillin, closest to the spacecraft, jumped forward immediately. He raised his hand and deflected the energy blast.

Gohan burst out with a powerful surge of ki, rapidly increasing his aura, then flew into the sky.

Bulma, of course, had already run inside to hide. She was an ordinary person—no way she could stay out during this chaos.
