"Good! Very good!"
Feeling the pressure, Vegeta wasn't discouraged. He was exhilarated.
This was exactly what he wanted.
Only under suppression could he break through.
With a sharp shout, his aura tightened and condensed. In an instant, he charged forward again.
His fists and kicks rained down like thunder, each strike powerful enough to shatter stars.
But Son Goku blocked them all with ease.
In base form, the gap between them was more than double.
"Hmph! Then take this!"
Vegeta shot upward near the yellow clouds above Snake Way. His hands cupped at his side.
"Galick Gun!"
A massive beam of purple energy roared downward, carrying all of Vegeta's base-form power.
Krillin and the others felt their hearts jump into their throats.
They knew they couldn't survive that attack.
Yet Goku remained calm.
As the Galick Gun approached, Goku raised one hand and released a quiet shout.
An invisible aura burst outward.
The massive beam froze midair, compressed into a dense sphere of light, and stopped completely.
Vegeta's eyes widened.
The beam trembled, shrank, and then disintegrated into particles of light.
Blocked purely through ki control.
"You scared already?" Goku teased lightly.
"Don't get ahead of yourself!" Vegeta snapped.
Enough of base form.
Golden ki erupted around him.
"Haaaaaaah!"
His Super Saiyan energy pool ignited. Golden flames surged skyward.
Super Saiyan First Grade Full Power.
His battle power leapt from 80 million to over 6 billion.
The pressure swept across the Other World, even reaching King Yemma's Palace.
King Yemma's Palace
King Yemma stared at the screen in shock.
"Vegeta… in the Other World? And that power…"
Even Android 17, Android 18, and Cell had only recently been judged.
Now this.
Above Snake Way, Vegeta glared at Goku.
"Transform, Kakarot! Let me see your Super Saiyan!"
He could clearly read Goku's base power now.
150 million.
No wonder he had handled everything so easily.
Goku smiled.
"You really are incredible, Vegeta. To reach this level twenty years earlier than me… it's beyond imagination."
"Stop talking and fight!"
Golden energy burst from Goku as well.
"Haaaaaaah!"
Super Saiyan First Grade Full Power.
But stronger.
Much stronger.
His power skyrocketed from 150 million to nearly 12 billion.
Twice Vegeta's.
The gap had widened.
Krillin whispered, "Goku's aura… it's overwhelming."
Tien Shinhan nodded. "Vegeta can't win like this."
Vegeta smirked.
"This is exactly what I wanted."
He attacked again, unleashing relentless, prince-style aggression.
Punches. Kicks. Elbows. No hesitation.
But Goku deflected them smoothly.
"You've just been training movement all these years? Fight back properly!" Vegeta roared.
He didn't want restraint.
He wanted pressure.
Goku's smile faded.
"Alright. Be ready."
In an instant, he slipped through Vegeta's guard.
Boom!
A crushing punch slammed into Vegeta's chest.
Vegeta shot back dozens of meters, blood trickling from his mouth.
The pain was intense.
His organs trembled.
But—
He grinned.
"Yes! That's it!"
Goku closed in again, unleashing a flurry of strikes.
Vegeta countered desperately, but Goku's speed was superior.
Another punch smashed into his abdomen.
Vegeta coughed blood, doubled over, yet continued fighting.
More blows landed.
He was being overwhelmed.
Yet his aura trembled.
His Saiyan blood boiled.
The more he was pushed, the more reckless he became.
Goku sensed it.
"You're close," Goku muttered.
Then his aura surged again.
The full power of Super Saiyan First Grade exploded outward.
The pressure intensified drastically.
"This will be my full power in this form!" Goku declared.
The true gap between their Super Saiyan realms was about to be revealed.
