"Zylus," Clare continued, "don't take another gamble; this time you'll fail. You're in enemy territory, you don't have the warmth of fighting back here." She paused, preparing herself to send a message through his spine, "COME BACK!"
Zylus didn't care; he didn't care that this was a risk.
"Clare, let me ask you something," Zylus demanded, stepping forward. "Have I failed a gamble?"
She tried thinking real hard, then gave up, "So? What if you didn't? I barely just met you."
"Then now you know," Zylus whispered, "they call me, 'The Sovereign of Uncertainty.'"
"Nobody calls you that!" Clare yelled, "But whatever, I'm not getting into your head at this point. Just find a way not die, then, you got that?"
"I got that, now hush up while I think." He lowered his voice calmly, expecting Clare not listen.
"H-!"
As soon as she was about to scream some utter nonsense into the mic, it cut off. Zylus giggled in the process.
