"Not that it would matter much after you're dead." Zylus continued, "I thought the announcements already had me, but I guess not."
Each person stopped, and Lucas dropped Eldra to the floor, as they slowly watched a demon's sight for the first time.
"Men," Noctis whispered, "Run!"
Each of them sprinted backwards, running as far away as they could, before even seeing Zylus's ability. They didn't need to see it, because the presence of his had already made up their minds.
"Don't run!" They stopped sprinting at Lucas's yell, "So, what if he's a demon?! We were going to have to fight them sooner or later anyway! Why not now?" He smirked, preparing for combat.
"You're not getting it!" Noctis screamed, "Up until now, unlike anything we have faced, none of them, not a single one, can compare to the level of a demon, let alone one of his caliber!"
Lucas spat on the floor, "We don't even know if he's strong yet; this could all be a bluff as far as we know." He said.
