She hadn't read much into it, but an educated guess had her believing the Guide Center offered guiding services to those that hadn't found their partners yet. Why else would they try to recruit her to join them?
Still, his words made it all too grounding as to how important her job was at stabilizing his power with her guide ability. Because she wasn't sure how strong of a barrier those gloves were.
They looked like ordinary fabric gloves to her and it would be a serious issue if they did little to stop his power.
"So… um what happened?" Freya finally asked, a little curious for details. Perhaps it could give her a clue on what to look out for if Xavier ever went crazy. "And how do the gloves work? They seem like normal gloves to me."
