Two hours later, Freya walked inside the large concrete building with Xavier leading the way. It seemed like your average government building, save for the countless plants hanging around in the main foyer.
There were a couple of chairs placed against the beige walls and the back had a counter with steel bars around the front. A metal door sat to the side.
Behind the counter sat a bored looking beastman with cat ears. He glanced up as Xavier headed straight for the metal door before glancing back down at his phone-like device.
Freya gripped the coat she had borrowed from Xavier tighter, wondering if she should've taken up his offer to get proper clothes before coming here. Because now it was feeling all too real.
Xavier, meanwhile, pulled out some kind of plastic ID from his coat pocket and placed it in front of some kind of scanning device. It lit up green and then Xavier placed his hand on the device, glancing up for a second.
